Gil just looks away, still looking worried.


"How sentient is he?" Alex asks.

 

Sgavrinn follows you obediently, though he seems nervous with every step.

"Just flyin' around, I think."

"Hey, don't worry about it too much. She looks out for us at home, and she's already kept millions of people from flooding in here."


"Completely."

 

"Cool. I don't get to fly around a lot."

 

"I-I guess that's good." Gil says.


"Really? I've seldom met a fully sentient golem." Alex says enthusiastically.

 

"Better than an immigrant crisis."


"Why don't you go introduce yourself? I can't keep two conversations up at once for long anyways."

"I'm sure you could convince a dragon to fix that. Probably Sgavrinn, if he stopped going on random adventures all the time."

 

"Where is he right now, anyways?"

 

Ihra shrugs.

 

Gil nods.


Alex walks over to Crystal, waiting for himself to be noticed.

 

"Besides, having someone monitoring hacks and such for free is a nice bit of bonus safety."

"Hi! Who're you?"

 

"My name is Alex, I'm an earth guardian. It's nice to meet you, Crystal." Alex says, offering a handshake.

 

"It's nice to meet you too!"
He smiles, before taking a second to realize that the hand is for a handshake, and then returning it.

 

"It's really quite amazing to meet a golem with full sentience. I've rarely seen them being made these days." Alex says.

 

"Uh, thanks? I guess? I get that a lot and still don't know how to respond."

 

"I guess whatever feels right to you." Alex shrugs, laughing.

 

"Uh, I'm glad I exist, too?"

 

Alex just laughs.

"So who created you?" Alex asks.

 

"This guy named Voidfiller. I don't think you know him, though."

 

"What are you acting nervous for, Sgavrinn? Is it because you can't eat the flowers?"

 

"I don't. Is he some kind of powerful mage here?" Alex asks.
