Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Kia seems to be making a sandwich with some somewhat old bread and honey.


Alex just looks down at Sivius, in shock and awe.

 

“Yeah!”
He raises up the ground to get closer to her face.
“Watched some fights, and that was cool to see.”

 

Pozel peeks outside again.


Sivius seems to make eye contact before the arena resets then he bows to the dryad, before both leave.

“Oh good, glad you like it!”

 

There's nobody outside.


Alex freezes up, scared.

 

Pozel looks for the tv remote.


A few minutes later, Sivius taps on Alex’ shoulder.
“Welcome to the chronoseum, othersoul.” He says with a slight smile.

 

The remote rests on the armrest, a little dusty.


"O-Oh, hey! You were quite the valiant fighter I must say." Alex says, bowing to Sivius.

 

Pozel tries to turn the tv on.


“No need to bow, I’m just an outcast. I appreciate the compliment, though.” He says.

 

The TV lets out a high pitch noise for a bit, before an image appears of a show about antiques.


"Aren't you a living legend? Partner of the Shadow Queen?" Alex asks.

 

Poze cringes.


“Yes, I am. Doesn’t change anything.”

 

An old woman seems to be showing a vase she kept for fifty years, though the show host tells her it's disappointingly barely worth 10 gold.


"I, uh..." Alex says, lost for words.

 

“Where ya goin’?”
He asks.

 

Pozel keeps watching.


“What brought you here, anyways?”

“Outside. Finally.”

 

The host moves on to someone else with an old watch, and he once again gives his idea of what it's worth is.


"I saved a girl called Ihra, and she offered to take me here." Alex says.

 

Pozel tries to change the channel.


“Heh, helped out one of the few people stronger than me.”

 

The channel changes to a reality show about a bunch of scientists doing inane things, a laugh track present to try and add humour.


"She's stronger than you?" Alex asks.

 

“Like, outside the Void?”

 

"Not night, knight. As in warrior."

 

Another channel switch.


"Easily." Sivius nods. "I'm not surprised she let herself get tied up."

"What do you mean not night, but night, it sounds the same. Then warrior sounds totally different."

"No, outside my palace."

 

“Oh. Mind if I come along?”

 

The next channel seems to be showing a cartoon about a boy named Flynn and his magical dog spending time going on adventures together.


"You mean she wanted to be put in danger?" Alex asks.
