Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

OOC: It seems the evil villain, mild inconvenience man, has struck again! :(

Make sure those commands are good; Violet won't accept weaksauce commands.

 

"Actually, those mountains will have less metal. A Serpent lived there and it probably ate a lot of metal. Now there's a Behemoth called Maxie eating the rubble. Anywhere else will probably be better. "
In the distance further west, you can see an abandoned mining village.
"Oh, and if you want to get metal, you can help yourself to as much as you like, even though the mines are owned by the Darklands. The miners were killed by the Serpent, and the western mines were the least needed, as they were further away. Expect people to appear in a few months once the other three mines are functioning... no, two, one was destroyed in a battle with the Serpent."

 

"Really? Wow... thanks. I'll let the others know and we'll get to work. No wonder Lyla still is surprised by all this. It's the first time we've been given refuge, everything else is just even more luck."

@dr AVERN!!!! You're a bit (way) behind chronologically, but with all of Vei's time antics, you'll be okay. I think.

Vei starts fading.
"The tunnel won't last. Use the..."
Her weapons fade.
"...braces... east... go..."

 

"Do you need any other materials for rebuilding?"

 

"Some wood, but it seems like there's no shortage of trees. We can fuse metals with the terrain to get most of what we need, for building and preparing trade goods."

 

OOC: I've got something. Hopefully it won't be perceived as weaksauce, it's actually pretty tormenting with normal humans.

I turn to Katie.
"Iceberg, right? I don't much like that name. It's a little too cold for a maid."
I turn to Stephanie.
"Don't you think that name's a bit cold?"

 

"Quite icey, I must admit. Though she does have powers related to it." Violet says.

OOC: We're in this now. No going back until it ends.

 

I look towards Katie.
"Yeah, I'm thinking that that can't happen. Maids are supposed to sound nicer. So that's not your name anymore. Maybe something like... Y'know what? I'm not feeling that creative. How about, 'I don't know my name, my master always chooses one for me.'"
I think.
"So what's your name again?"

 

"I know my name, it's Katie." Katie says, smirking.

Violet slaps the air in front of Katie so hard, she falls to the ground from the force of it.

"That's not your name, say it properly." Violet hisses.

"I don't know my name, my master always chooses one for me." Katie says sadly.

"Up." Violet says.

Katie gets up, and Violet grabs her arm tightly.

"Your final command?" Violet asks, "She can do more than just say things, you know.".

 

OOC: What is Katie wearing? Like, ANYTHING she has on, feet to head.

 

OOC: She's barefoot, wearing blue scaled shorts and a blue scaled shirt (which is sort of her armour; like Artemis' leaf attire). If you wanted to get into the further-than-sight details, she's wearing blue underwear; but that's a bit of a perverse topic.

 

OOC: No, no, not that. I was mainly wondering if she had any boots, or necklaces, or something like that.

"I haven't got anything. You have any ideas?"
I smile.

 

"Well, Katie, I think our new sergeant is in need of a reward for his great commanding work. Why don't you go over and kiss him." Violet says.

"W-What!?" Katie asks in shock.

"That wasn't a question. Go on, kiss him, on the lips with a side of passion. Maybe it'll spark some ideas for him." Violet commands.

Katie seems reluctant to do anything at first, but under the glare of Violet, she walks over and kisses you passionately. Violet grins evilly.

 

Taking my rag out, I back up, tying the rag around my mouth.
I glare at Stephanie.
I pull down the face-mask for a second to reveal I'm smiling, still.
"Not sure what Shadow Stephanie is going to say about that."
I say, my voice a bit muffled through the rag.
In addition to the rag being around my mouth, I loosely bite it in case someone tries to take it off.

 

"So, got any more ideas? You're on a roll of two, let's see if you can pull a hat trick." Violet says, grinning.

Katie walks back to Violet, defeated and willing to serve.

 

"Well I'll need a hat if I'm to actually do that."
I say, taking the rag off and putting it in my pocket.
I glace at Katie.
"I said, I'm going to need a hat if I'm to actually do that."

 

Katie forms an icy fedora in her hands and passes it to you. Despite it's cold appearance, it doesn't feel even the slightest bit frozen.

"I asked for a command, not for a Dr. Seuss reading." Violet says impatiently.

 

"That was the command."
I comment.
"I just kinda wanted a hat."
I say, putting the ice hat on.
"How's it look?"
I get my rag ready.

 

Violet picks up the bottle of Ketchup, holding it in view, "You see this? This is sauce. This sauce is weak, and like your command, it's weaksauce. Your command is weaksauce." She says, disappointed.

"But, I'll give you one more chance. Fail to impress me," Violet brings out a rather sharp looking sword, holding it against Katie's neck, "And you'll get to see the maid die."

Katie actually seems scared.

 

"Let me think..."
I look towards Katie.
"Don't fret, I'm not going to try to get you 'killed'."

OOC: Thirteen has seen the bloodied, rotten, dead, bodies of several scientists and engineers in one place. He's pretty fine with seeing something die. I guess it is Katie, though.
