Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“I mean, I do know Voidfiller pretty well, so it was cool.”

 

“I got let out of prison for carrying her back here.”


It’s an open-top, though the shark-thing presses itself against the glass away from the dirt Alex took.

“Well, I must say you certainly are the most emotionally charged golem I’ve seen.”

 

"Why were you put in prison?" Gil asks.


Alex feels the dirt between his hands, before tasting a bit to try and taste the minerals in it.

 

“They thought I hurt her.”


It seems to be particularly rich in iron and quartz, with the slightest bit of tin. Everything else seems normal.

 

"Ah." Gil says, understanding.


"What's the optimum soil for your pet?" Alex asks.

 

“Prison was lame.”


“High silicate levels, low iron, low tin, and I need to add copper later for feeding.”

 

"I didn't think it'd be a great place." Gil nods.


"It's quite high in iron, which might be the cause of discomfort." Alex says.

“Could you fix that?”

He nods.

 

Gil goes quiet.


"I should be able to." Alex says, putting his hands against the glass of the terrarium and focusing, trying to extract the majority of the iron in the dirt and bring it to him.

 

“...So no, it’s not that easy.”


It’s easily extracted, albeit along with the shark-thing.

 

"Yeah, we need to get enough money to be considered." Gil says.


Alex carefully puts the shark-thing back telekinetically.

 

Pozel looks off to the side before smiling and turning back.
"Let's hope that works."


It calmly sinks into the dirt, leaving its snout poking out a bit.
"She's not a great pet, but I think she's pretty when she's in the water."

 

"Did you perhaps get any visite from Ragnyon? It has probably been a while, hasn't it?"

 

“Uhh, thanks? I guess?”

 

He shakes his head, then nods.

“You’re sure you’re okay, though, right?”

 

"To be quite honest, I also haven't seen her for a while. I kind of miss her. What about you?"

 

"I really hope it does." Gil sighs.


"What is she?" Alex asks, compressing the iron into a small sphere.

 

He whines a bit.

“I sent a messenger to the palace.”


“She’s called a pimroca, sort of an amphibious shark.”

 

"What?" Gil asks, surprised.


"Interesting. A bit like a water guardian as a shark then?" Alex asks.
