"I can manage this a lot better!" Artemis shouts.

 

I'm sitting comfortably on Rineth.

"Ready when you are."

 

Carla follows.
"I've never met a god in person. What's it like?"

Rineth takes off, gliding straight towards a fiery-looking area. Sgavrinn follows from below.

 

Abigail blasts off, following Rineth. Her dragon wings extend, and she flies up to Rineth, screaming in joy.

"Look at the view!" Stephanie says, looking below Rineth. I jump off and start flying next to Abigail, "You seem to be having fun!" I comment.

Abigail simply responds with a squeal of joy before flying further ahead.

"This is much less scary than last time!" Artemis says telepathically to Sgavrinn, smiling.

 

Rineth seems to be gliding slowly.
"Abigail, Aj, mind scouting ahead?"

 

"Sure thing!" I say, flying ahead. Abigail puts her visor down and blasts ahead, her visor scanning for lifeforms below.

"This is fun! I'm glad Artemis is enjoying herself." Katie says, glancing down at Artemis.

 

You see another draconian flying low.

"It's nicer when you're not worried about ballistae. Those make flight rough."

 

Abigail flies back to Rineth, "Capp'n! We sighted a draconian flyin' below us! What shall we do capp'n?" Abigail says like a pirate.

Katie pats Rineth, "Thanks for flying us." She says happily.

 

"Try to get their name."


"No problem. This is the part of my job I like."

 

Abigail flies back up to me, "Aj, be my siren and guard, we have a draconian to interrogate!" Abigail says.

"WEEEEOOOOOEEEEOOOOEEEEOOOOO!" I shout as Abigail and I descend to the draconian's level.

"Excuse me, but you're flying in a restricted air zone. I'll need your name and home address please!" Abigail says, flying next to the draconian.

 

They look at you awkwardly.
"Uh... What?"

 

"This air space is restricted for gigantic dragons; this is a no-fly zone for draconians. I'm going to have to write you a ticket," Abigail says, pulling out her notebook, "Your names, please."

"Any more hoopla and you'll be under arrest." I say, summoning a pair of handcuffs.

 

"Martin, third elder of the Timekeeper's Council."

 

"What business do you have that brought you here, Martin?" Abigail asks, writing in her notebook.

 

"Scouting run."

 

"Scouting for what, exactly?" Abigail asks.

 

"To learn the lay of the land. We evacuated successfully... for the most part."

 

"By any chance did you evacuate the draconain homeworld, to escape a certain 'Xlentia'?" Abigail asks.

 

"Precisely, though more so to flee The Hive."

 

"Could you please wait a moment?" Abigail asks, flying back up to Rineth.

"Capp'n! We found some escapee's from th' mighty she-beast Xlentia! 'E says 'es name is Martin, Tird El'der from th' Timekeeper's Coun'cil. Whaddya say capp'n?" Abigail reports with a thick pirate accent.
