Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The guards don't nod back, keeping a close watch on you.

 

"I guess not."

He starts to pluck some of the flowers.
"Those look beautiful."

 

"Well, I've never heard of this place before. I didn't even know what it looked like until I carried the queen back here because she fainted looking at civilian tech."

"Right. Do you know a more private spot?"

"Sure. That'll work, I think."

Sgavrinn sniffs at your hand, hoping you'll feed him the flowers.

 

“Let’s go, then.”
I start walking to the portal to the Void Palace.

 

She stumbles along with you.

 

I head through, making my way to Maralune.

 

"Shadows aren't exactly the 'friendliest' bunch. They're known for genocide." Kia says.

 

"They're just biological gen 2s, then."

 

"What?" Kia asks.

 

She never really walks straight, yawning again.

"Gen 2s almost wiped out our race. Well, Gen 1 amd 2s."

 

“I’ll carry you if you fall asleep.”
I mention.

 

"I think Shadows mostly hate humans." Sel says.

 

"I... might... take you up on that."

"Well, Autos only massacred us. So... yeah. Parallels. Now we're mostly okay."

 

"Do they possess dark powers too?" Kia asks.

 

“You don’t need to worry about it, then.”
I keep walking, slower now.

 

"Nope."

"...Probably going for a nap first..."

 

"Lame." Kia says, darkening the area around her.

 

"You want some? Open wide."

He feeds Sgavrinn the flowers.

 

"Yeah, they kinda wiped out eight other planets. Glad we got past that."

He uses his tongue to practically yank all of them out of your hand at once, humming.

 

"I don't like plants, so you can have them."

He plucks another handfull and feeds them to Sgavrinn.
"Be sure to tell me if you see something. I'll be exploring some more."
