Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The guardian lets her tarball melt away, though doesn't let it stain anything.

 

His tail lets out a quiet beep as it reveals four cores, though they just look like glass half-domes with a multicolored metal ring around them.
Pozel takes one, lets his tail go back to normal, then stands up with core in hand.
"Well, it was nice talking to you, though I should probably do something more productive than listen to lectures in a library."

 

"See you around." The guardian says, giving a wave.

 

He waves with his free hand, pressing the core to his chest as bionic joints appear around his legs as he heads out.
Once they finish deploying, he winds up walking significantly faster than before as he opts to stroll around the palace instead of taking an elevator back to the entrance.

 

He passes guardians and Shadows, most giving him strange looks as he walks by. Pozel walks by a few rooms dedicated to particular guardians, sports halls, swimming pools and spas, a skate park and even defensive training classes.

 

He stops at one of the defensive training classes, just peeking in before continuing on and looking at general clothing patterns.

 

Shadows seem to be training against animated dummies, dodging their attacks.

Most forest guardians appear to wear woven leaves and wooden plates, while fire and earth guardians wear heavier duty armour most of the time. Water guardians appear to mostly wear fish-scaled clothing, while air guardians wear lighter more silken clothing under light golden coloured armour. Shadows seem to wear a wide variety of clothing, tougher looking guards wearing heavy duty armour while servants wear basic shirts, trousers and shoes.

 

“It’s wrapped up, which means that it’s pretty much closed.”

 

He goes back to the training room, checking to see if it's open to random people entering or not.

"Then if you want to look inside, go ahead."

 

“Alright. Scream if you’re in pain.”
I start quickly walking down the hall back to the rooms.

 

"I think that's a normal reaction to pain!"

 

Judging by the look of the group, it seems to be a class of people instead of just anyone.

 

“Some people just decide to not!”

 

He opts to head to the elevator and try to get outside.

"I'll let you know!"

 

It seems the best way outside would be just to teleport to the front doors.

 

"You've never seen Anne? Has Ragnyon maybe told you about her?"
(I forgot how to spell his previous owner's name)

 

I continue along the hallway, eventually coming across the canvas ball. I prod the ball with my little finger, checking it.

 

He grabs his tail, taps on something a few times, then warps to the front doors.

That's correct.

He shakes his head again.

It's lazily sewn together, somehow still intact.

 

The doors are closed, guards by them, though they don't seem to object to letting people out.

 

"Well, she is my current girlfriend. And we're soon getting married if things work out."
