"No, I'm not swallowing that thing again unless I have to."

He groans, rolling over to expose his belly.

 

"So cyborg jesus comes to visit you and you're showered with whatever you want?" The guardian asks.

 

"Cyborg who? I mean, the First Ascended did sort of salvage our race from extinction..."

 

He pets his belly.
"You're a good boy, Sgavrinn."

 

He hums, closing his eyes and stretching.

 

"I had a strange dream last time. Wanna hear it?"

 

He nods, rolling all the way over onto his back.

 

"Jesus, he's this blown up historical figure who's been made a staple point of human religion. They actually believe one god made everything, instead of Gaia and the other gods like simple logic would show," The guardian says, "Everyone just uses the phrases humans do in relation to their religion to make fun of them."

 

"So.. I was having this dream, and I stumbled across this strange village."
He uses both hands to pet him.

 

"No, the First Ascended wound up pulling our race from the brink of extinction. They were no god and served no god, but pretty much my entire race worships them... even though they've been long dead."

He nods, humming quietly.

 

"Cool." The guardian says, though sounding like she isn't really listening.

 

Pozel doesn't seem to care, going back to looking at the ground.
"...How obvious is it that I'm a cyborg?"

 

"Very." The guardian says, creating a ball of tar just above her hand and letting it drip onto it.

 

"What was the giveaway? Hololens, or did I forget to make my tail look like a tail again?"

 

"Most people don't shoot lasers out of their eyes like that." The guardian says.

 

"Figured it was the hololens." He shrugs. "You want to give it a try?" He asks, putting a claw to his eye and removing a contact-like device with a grey ring that seemed to have traced his iris.

 

“I mean, should I open it to figure out what it is?”

 

"Uh, no thanks. I don't want to...gunk up your gear." The guardian says, shifting back slightly.

 

"So, I wandered around a bit, looking in some of the houses and I found out that this village could've been the village where Anne was born. You know Anne, right?"

 

"Alright." He shrugs, putting it back in.

He shakes his head.

"Is it closed? I mean, you can do whatever with it."
