Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It seems to be the same material as her canvases, albeit an unpainted scrap.

 

I pocket it, going back out to the hallway to observe the Matriarch.

 

"That's...unnerving." Eve says, genuinely looking scared.

 

"Your making me a boat?"

 

She's breathing, but still unconscious.

"Sure, why not? If you're going to live on that island, may as well be able to get back and forth at night."

"Hah, she says the exact same thing!" Pozel laughs.

 

I wait for her to become conscious again.

 

That takes an extra hour before she stirs, coughing a bit before throwing up a significant amount of the blood-phlegm. After that fiasco, she seems to be fine, albeit lightheaded.

 

“Need to throw up more?”
I ask, standing out of her way.

 

Eve laughs with Pozel, albeit fearfully.

 

"Oh right. You've never seen me like this. It's me, Bardock."

 

"N-no, I don't think so..." She says, looking wearier than she was before she went to sleep.

He gives you another confused look before sniffing at you for another few minutes and stepping back a bit.

"It's crazy how much storage you need in order to make a database out of several galaxies. I do like the simpler things here, reminds me of home."

 

I lift her up onto her feet, and use my hands to cover her eyes from her fluids.
“Are you ready to move?”

 

"I would think the material would be quite expensive, too." Eve comments.

 

"No offense, one of the databanks is probably worth more materially than this entire city."

Her eyes glaze over a bit.
"H-hold on..."

 

"Y-Yeah, probably." Eve says nervously.

 

"Oh, that reminds me, did I remember to give Shadow Stephanie the mech she used over at the station? That's also worth a small planet."

 

"I don't believe so. Apparently she fainted when she saw the tech out of fear of our entire realm being wiped and reset." Eve says.

 

"Really? Over a mech? Oh... wait, that explains her passing out over an arkship schematic."

 

"Sorry. My wolf side wanted to have some rest too."

He sits down. "How are you?"

 

He yawns, curling up.
