Abigail looks at Artemis drinking 13's blood, "Nonetheless, it doesn't mean having a Death Guardian who wants to drink everyone's blood is any better; only relative to a flesh-addicted shadow." Abigail says, slightly worried.

 

"I'm happy to help your race. The problem is, there are people in this world who won't be happy."

 

"True."
Rineth waits expextantly, annoyed.

"Obviously. We wish to be relevant in trade but avoid conflict."

 

Artemis just keeps drinking.

"Alright Artemis I think that's enough, Aj has more blood than most beings remember?" Abigail says, mildly concerned for 13's safety.

 

"Try mine, I have more to lose than them."

 

Artemis pulls away from 13, blood covering most of her mouth.

"Tastes more metallic than the others..." Artemis comments.

Artemis looks over to Rineth and smiles expectantly.

 

"If you have to be insatiable, better steal from the rich than the poor."

 

"Runetrel has managed to trade with every major known city, except Matu in the Lost Kingdom, since Runetrel was founded. If you need to trade for supplies or trading in general, Runetrel will be a good option."

 

"We'll look. We'll need construction materials. Thanks, Eras."
She looks at the ground.
"Oh. Sarin, do you know him already?"
"Barely."

 

"I'm not insatiable...it's just nice tasting everyone's blood. It's like getting to know them on another level." Artemis says, walking over to Rineth and biting him in the neck; drinking his blood.

 

It's imbued with dark energy.
"Sure. Something like that."

 

"Where were you planning to settle on the coast?"

 

Artemis keeps drinking, my blood negating the effects of the dark energy.

"Still not getting mine." Abigail says, holding her claws around her neck.

 

"I'd offer, but I don't exactly have blood. Too bad for you," I gloat, grinning.

"Being incorporeal for the most part does have its perks."

 

"Hey Stephanie, are you still going to give Dumbledore a body!?" Abigail shouts to Stephanie.

 

"There's a bluff on the coast between two towns. No paths seem to go through there. It's on the border between two regions, I suppose Brisingr and The Darklands."

Artemis feels the wound closing.

 

Artemis pulls away before her teeth get stuck, "Tastes sort of like Aj's, but with less darkness." Artemis says, wiping her mouth.

"Why do I feel like you becoming a Death Guardian has massively altered your personality?" Abigail says.

 

"What would your father have to say?"

 

Artemis glares at Rineth, "Don't bring him into this." She says with a serious tone.

"How do we summon him? Don't we have to get you to the verge of death, or deal a strike that'll kill you?" Abigail asks.

"I don't think we need to summon him. I'm fine as I am." Artemis says.

Artemis' necklace pulses lightly.
