Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Shawn had his laptop open when he died, so he might've been writing something. There's a hole through the middle of it now, so we won't know."
I shrug.

 

One of the guards nearby clicks his fingers, and the chain of the handcuffs turns into energy; allowing movement of hands, if restricted.

 

"Thanks." He sighs, stressed.
Pozel rubs his eye before looking for any nearby prisoners.

"Can I look at it?"

 

"Sure. Shawn's in his room."
We start to near a crossroads of sorts.

 

"How close are we?"

 

"Two doors, one leading outside."

 

"Let's start with basics. What's Geneson doing in the underground besides building a new kingdom?"

"How about now?"

 

"Not like it's locked. I figure you're close enough to make a break for it."

"Making a treaty with us. That's pretty much it." Erevne sighs.

She keeps following.
"Even if it's broken, I want to see the wires. There's so many things with wires, I'm curious now."

 

"Might as well try it."

 

There's a few cells a distance away from his, but it's hard to see anyone in them.

 

Besides, what other ideas did we have? If we've only got one thing, we may as well take it as far as we can.

He sighs, sitting down and sweeping his tail in front of himself as the tip of it turns into a puzzle cube of sorts. He fiddles around with it, glancing at a guard every now and then.

 

The guards keep an eye on him, but otherwise say nothing.

 

He just waits, slowly seeming to become frustrated and confused as time goes on.

 

The guards eventually change shift, though not much else happens.

 

Pozel starts becoming visibly stressed, trying to poke his short snout out between the bars.
"Has she come to?"

 

The guards don't respond.

 

Pozel keeps waiting, slowly getting more and more restless.

 

"If you want to see wires, the generator's probably a better stop. The laptops here don't have very many wires. Laptops in general don't have very many wires, actually."

 

"For convincing them? Nah, I have no idea how I would do that. The children idea is as much as I got."
