I step through the portal to Maralune, and make my way towards where I last saw the Matriarch.

 

Rose looks around the shop a bit more before stepping towards the door again.
"...Have a good day. I hope business picks up again for you."

You still feel cold on the inside, but you start to warm up after a while.
Better?

That would be her palace, and she seems to be milling about, looking through dye crates.

 

"Hey."
I say, making my way up to her.

 

She looks up, a bit of dye powder on her face.
"Oh, hi. Did anyone ever notice the spot? I kinda forgot to go back and check."

 

"I don't know."
I shrug.
"I haven't seen it since it was here."

 

"Thank you for your time." The old man says appreciatively.

 

"Yes, much better. I don't know what I was thinking when I did this."

 

"Oh... I guess I'll go back soon, then. Thanks for reminding me, at that."

I was worried I was getting to your head when you did this. You sure you're okay?

"Oh, it's nothing. Have a good day." She says, smiling as she walks out.

 

The old man just stays where he is, watching over his store.

 

"No problem."
I nod.
"I actually came to tell you that I finished checking out the lab."

 

"The what?"

Rose heads out, looking around for a more empty alley before warping randomly onto Earth.


Ihra runs up to the shadow palace gates shortly after.
"Hey, did you see some succubus in a silly dress come by?"

 

"The lab that I was made in."

 

"Yes." The guard says.

 

"Yeah.. just let me warm up a little and I should be fine."

 

"What is?"

 

"The cabin up there."

Pace around a bit. Can't really make your hands warm if you shiver.

"You didn't kill her, did you? And where'd she go?"

"Oh, right! Did you find anyone else there?"

 

"She want to the city." The guard bluntly responds.

 

He starts walking circles.

 

Sitting down in the chair, I relax a little bit more.

"Alright, you have me in a box. Instead, would you care to explain the situation with Geneson down here instead?"

 

"Not alive, as expected. I tried to move the least amount of corpses as possible."
