You've got a fire, you'll be okay.

"I suppose you're not keen about hiding there again?"

Xlentia yawns, glancing at the shadows occasionally.
"Sorry to give you a hard time over this. I've just been in a really bad mood." She says after a while. "I dunno what you'd want in compensation, mortals confuse me."

 

He transforms back to his human for.
"Aah. It's been a while."
He stretches his body.

 

"Let's just go."

 

The Shadows stop their whispering, remaining quiet for a bit before going back to it.

 

A cold breeze comes by, making you much happier you're near Anne.

Xlentia waits a bit before moving completely out of her gold pile.

"Remember, I'm not going to be responsible for keeping watch of everyone around us unless you're in the bucket. Your call."

 

He sits closer to Anne.
"There we go."

 

She smiles.
"Feeling any better?"

Just say yes.

 

"Yes."

 

"You feeling a bit more aware?"

Is she calling me stupid?

 

"What are you talking about?"

 

"You seemed sorta all over the place earlier. Just making sure you're feeling okay."

 

"I'm a little stressed out about the whole situations."

 

"...I don't know why I didn't just assume it was all stress. Yeah, this day kinda sucks."

 

"Oh please. You didn't do anything today."

 

"Just because I didn't do anything doesn't mean that everyone freaking out around me doesn't stress me out."

 

"It's just the dragoness, right. I haven't seen her husband around, so it can't be him."

 

The Shadows spread out, tending to a broken crystal each.

 

"Her husband's up on an elevated perch or something."

It doesn't take long to replace them.

 

Once the Shadows are done, they quickly get off of Xlentia and head toward the exit.

 

"Right. I won't disturb him then."
