Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The guards keep watch of Miorah until she's within the city.

 

"Well, that's solved then. Just need to remind ourselves to visit one when we get back on the island."

 

She strolls through the city, looking for anyone wounded or mourning, sending a clone of herself down each street.

 

The city seems to be mostly normal, nobody hurt or obviously mourning. Miorah encounters a few homeless Shadows and Guardians though.

 

"I have a small list. I won't forget."

Miorah tosses a spore of pollen or two on each homeless being as she goes, Gaia soon coming by in fae form and leaving all of them a small basket with bread and fruit and a few flowers.

 

"What's on there? Wedding, clothes, fire amulet?"

 

The homeless thank Gaia, breaking off bits of bread or cutting parts of fruit to eat and ration.

 

She only stays near each long enough for a smile, Miorah leaving once she finishes her sweep of the city before heading up to the palace gates and leaving two simple bouquets of roses on the ground, one with a note that reads "What's left will not wither" and the other that reads "That with roots will regrow" before vanishing with a small green flash without a word.

"Not in that order, but yes. Plus finding a bluff."

 

A guard passes them to a forest guardian to take them into the palace, though returns to duty.

 

"Ah yes, the bluff."

 

"Unless you thought of a better place to have one." She shrugs.

Neither Gaia or Miorah show back up in the Shadow Realm, but Gaia soon links to her counterpart.
"Hey, can I come celebrate today in your domain real quick? I've become fascinated with the mortal concept of celebrating birthdays, and declared my own as today. I usually go around giving people flowers and food to the less fortunate, so... do you mind if I do a quick sweep of Earth?"

 

"Sure!" Gaia responds happily.

 

Gaia winds up opening a portal over an ocean, stumbling through in her golemic body and letting out a fairly large wave as she finds her balance.

 

The ocean is deep enough to sustain Gaia, though there may be consequences to creating such a disturbance in it.

 

Miorah grows a mass amount of vines to break the wave early, Gaia transforming and looking like a flying ball of roses and baskets as she ascends, looking for land.

 

There seems to be a land mass to the north and to the east.

 

She heads north first, looking for any cities, towns, villages, etc.

 

"No, it's fine really. We decided to stick with the bluff, right? It's just that..."

"...it is going to take a while before we find a good one."

 

"Well, we could always ask Rema."

 

A town rests near to large white cliffs, seeming to be primarily inhabited by humans.
