"Yes. I know here VERY well." He smiles.

 

A few servants, guardians and Shadows walk about, but she's not able to see much as she's carried into an elevator, Shadow Stephanie swiftly turning the dials and teleporting Katie, Spring and herself to the portal room.

"Shouldn't we get changed here? I don't know if there's changing rooms, and people will see we're not human." Katie says.

"Yeah, may as well." Shadow Stephanie shrugs, summoning what looks like a blue bikini for Katie and handing it to her, before summoning a necklace and black bikini for herself.

 

Do I have any powers in the spiritual plane?

 

"Oh?"
"We're gonna get married." Anne chuckles.
"Huh. That's an interesting couple."
"I could see it."

You can jump higher, flatten yourself (amorphous body), and heal rapidly.

"Where are we going?" Spring asks, yawning.

 

He chuckles.
"You're not the first to think that. It does look a little weird, doesn't it?"

 

"The beach!" Katie says happily, starting to get changed.

 

"Sorta does."
"I mean, you're both rare creatures. Makes sense you'd keep to yourselves."

"Why are you changing, then? Will I need to hide?"

 

"It's a human beach, they don't tend to like us." Shadow Stephanie says, putting on her necklace. Shadow Stephanie's skin changes colour, making her look a lot like Stephanie, barring the completely black hair and red eyes. Shadow Stephanie summons a pair of sunglasses to hide her eyes, making her look like a normal human ready for the beach.

"I think you should be fine as long as you stay with me." Katie says.

 

"Well, that's one thing we have in common. I didn't think about that." He laughs.
"But yeah.."

 

"Raygyon? I knew she came from somewhere very far off, but I didn't expect her to be a runaway from an inter-galactic conflict."

 

So...invisibility isn't an option.

 

"Won't the sun hurt you, miss Shadow?"

"Runaway is a bit of a stretch, but yeah. She's... pretty much been in the middle of it from the start."

Anne smiles.
"Still planning on getting married after this blows over. Kinda like the world doesn't want us to be wed, though."

 

"Yeah.. things got weird the moment we met." He scratch behind his head.

 

Shadow Stephanie summons a large beach umbrella, folded.

"Problem solved." Shadow Stephanie says, heading over to the terminal and typing in commands.

 

"I wonder why anyone wouldn't like it, though. What's wrong with two random people getting married?"

"Oh, that works." Spring says, going over to perch on the umbrella.
"...Wait, what about the trident? Won't that look strange?"

 

"Love is love, isn't it? Can't really interfere with it."

 

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." Katie says, handing her trident to Shadow Stephanie, who desummons it.

A portal opens up to a sandy parking lot next to a huge beach, the sound of people being active heard from it. Shadow Stephanie and Katie step through, Shadow Stephanie opening the umbrella to shade herself.

 

"Well the guards can just go suck one."

 

"Apparently you can try." She snickers.

"U-uh... what?"

Spring looks at the people from her perch.

 

"Yeah. Nature is doing a pretty good job so far." He chuckles.
"But hey, no rush."
