Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ruby glances at the wall.
"Anything I can test these against?"

 

“I saw. I dont think you did anything major to them, though.”
I stop hugging her.

 

"Look, just follow me and we'll see if anything happens. I'll go in first if you want."

 

"You head in first, we'll come in behind."

 

I'll hop down.

 

You land with a thump, someone turning around.
"A-uh..." They utter, stepping back.

 

Vexa creates a stone dummy in front of Ruby.

"I...I don't know what happened, I just sort of lost control." Shadow Stephanie says, sounding disappointed in herself.

 

Ruby bashes the dummy with the handle of the scythe, and it holds up (the stone cracks a bit). She then cuts through it with the blade.

"I don't know the target quality. Is that good?"

 

"Uhh..."

 

"Did you just, uh... come out of the vent?"

 

“I’m not going to try to make sense of it. Let’s just get back onto the rooftops, yeah?”

 

"N-No. As a matter of fact...I'm not real. I'm just apart of your imagination."

 

Vexa nods, impressed.

"Yeah, let's go." Shadow Stephanie says, heading over to a building and climbing up it.

 

I run, then jump and boost up like before.

 

Shadow Stephanie gets to the top as you reach it, climbing over the ledge.

 

"Aren't I talking to you?"

"Alright. Bow next? I don't have arrows or string. Did they want a metal thread?"

 

"Tough string, metal limbs and arrows." Vexa says.

 

I get to the top and stand there, looking around to see where we are.

 

You still seem to be in the richer parts of the city, the palace nearby and the city center a bit of a distance away. A few people seem to be coming out of their houses, looking around worriedly for any of the parasites.

 

“You said something about Aj trying to help?”
I ask, turning towards Shadow Stephanie.
