Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ruby takes another set of ingots and crystals and makes a duplicate of the boomerang with the same process before handing them to Vexa.
"What other orders are there?"

 

"Uh, let me look." Vexa says, taking the boomerangs and heading out to the front.

 

Ruby glances over to see what Vexa was starting to work on.

 

Vexa seems to have been working on a sword of some kind, a handle mostly made.

 

Ruby glances at the ingot stock before turning back towards the front of the shop.

 

There seems to be a mostly large supply of ingots, while Vexa seems to be taking out sheets of paper.

 

Ruby heads towards Vexa.
"Are all of those custom orders?"

 

Vexa nods, handing Ruby a large stack of papers.

 

“Hey, it’s okay. You didn’t eat any living people, I think.”

 

Ruby looks at the first three, a bit surprised.
"Is this a backlog, or did word just get out about your shop, or what?"

 

"I-I think I almost did." Shadow Stephanie admits.

They seem to be for a scythe, a bow and a hammer.

"Well, word has got out about a legendary blacksmith working here, so everyone wants to try and have their new weapon forged by her." Vexa says happily.

 

"You must be really popular." Ruby smiles, taking a few ingots and red crystals. "What colors are everything usually?"

 

"Scythes and bows are generally browns, greens and silvers, claws come in any colour, hammers are usually metallic colours, and tridents are generally golds or blues. Though they don't have to be restricted to those colours, some guardians like variance in design." Vexa says.

 

Ruby looks for a green crystal.
"Hmm... were any of these requests looking for something varied like that?"

 

There seems to be one in a chest of them, looking like an emerald.

"Not many, but creativity is allowed." Vexa says.

 

"Alright. What symbols do death guardians like on their scythes?"

 

"Runes, skulls, those sorts of things." Vexa says.

 

I check to see if anyone is in the room then hop down.

 

She makes a scythe with a handle that has a design of someone falling, and the blade completes the design with a skeletal hand pulling them through a portal lined with teeth.
"...How strong are these supposed to be?"

There's someone whistling nearby, but the room itself is clear.

 

"Quite." Vexa says.
