"As long as you don't harm her children, you should be fine."
He looks at the dragon.
"Although I don't know how they will feel if you come with us."

 

"Children? Poor things... bred to die."

"I'll go ten ingots total. What do you usually make boomerangs out of?"

 

Shadow Stephanie turns around and looks at you for a moment, before screaming. Her eyes seem to show primal urges, a loss of control.

"Light or low density metals and crystal." Vexa says.

 

I grab and hug her, then try to rhymically pat her back.

 

Shadow Stephanie violently struggles for a bit, before calming down, eventually hugging you back.

 

"So an entire kingdom is packing up and moving below ground? If so, why continue to skirmish with the other kingdoms?"

 

"Yep. But that's life. We all die eventually, don't we?"

 

"Alright. Do they tend to like particulr colors?"

"As food, most likely."

"Discrimination."

 

"Whites, blues, golds and yellows generally," Vexa shrugs, "Some prefer blacks and dark purples though."

 

"Blue and gold it is." Ruby says, heading in the back.

 

Vexa follows, getting to work on her own projects.

 

Ruby takes eight ingots and two pieces of blue crystal, looking for a giant anvil or something to lay them out on.

 

There's luckily an anvil right next to the smelter.

 

"Eventually." He sighs.
"Let's just try to stay positive here."

 

“Savage You isn’t very smart.”
I comment nonchalantly.
“You could slip through my grip like water right now.”

 

Shadow Stephanie just keepings hugging you, a little shaken.

 

Ruby lines the ingots up, putting the two crystals on the end. She then runs an energy arc between her claws and passes it over the ingots, leaving a gold boomerang with blue crystal ends. It's razor sharp, and the gold area has small blue etchings of a ziz on each side.
"Hey, this look okay?"

"You're free to remain optimistic. I promise nothing."

 

Vexa glances over, before doing a double take, touching the boomerang to make sure it's real.

"How did you..." Vexa says, shocked.

 

It's real.
"The order was for two, right?"

 

Vexa nods, though still surprised.
