I comment softly.
“I might rise up or something.”

 

"Aren't you scared that they'll.. you know.. eat you when they get older?"

 

"Well... I suppose I should make myself useful today. Any custom orders in right now?"

"I won't make it that long, so no."

 

Shadow Stephanie lifts up the corpse from the ground, checking it over before putting it down and leaving the ground. Shadow Stephanie summons her knife and buries it into the guardian's chest, cutting a hole and pulling out the their heart, before biting down on it and eating it, savoring it's flavour.

"I've got one for a pair of boomerangs if you'd like to take it." Vexa says.

 

I watch her, then turn around, making sure nothing’s behind me.

 

"Why is that? Getting old?"
He looks a bit worried.
"Or is it just this.. place?"

 

"Got notes on the order?"

"Just this place." She shrugs, tripping one of her young before sweeping them back away from the cave exits.

 

"I still don't understand why you even life here. You probably have your reasons, but I hate it here."

 

"We get chased here, as if we're animal in a pen. Attacked by others if we leave, attacked by each other if we stay."

 

"Yet, I haven't seen any harmful dragons. Though I'm not saying that they aren't out there."

 

There doesn't seem to be anything behind you, luckily. The creatures appear to be quite rare.

Vexa opens a drawer below her till, taking out a piece of paper and offering it to Ruby.

 

The crate, unfortunately, does nothing.

Terrae teleports to the airship docks to ask about things falling into the crater.

I lean closer on the table.

"So, about Genesion. What have they been doing down here as of late?"

 

I keep my eye on Shadow Stephanie, waiting for her to come back up.

Shadow Stephanie tears apart at the corpse like a wild animal, ripping off flesh, bone and organ with sharp claw-like hands and razor sharp teeth.

 

"Even still, what good would it do? We'd just stress each other out, and my husband might lash out."

You find a grate you can drop through, but the hall goes much further than that.
You can see a few cleaning supplies below. Probably a janitor's closet.

"Building, writing treaties, moving down here. Just settling down and learning to live without the sun."

Ren tries to peek inside.


Seems he headed over during rush hour, the docks are crowded and people are going by shoulder to shoulder.

"Should I just tell them that they can't stay then?"

 

They seem to be specified to be light, sharp, and conductive of magic, though one should be more attuned to thunder magic while the other air.

 

She sighs.
"If you're willing to put up with my spouse, bring them in. If they so much as scratch one of my children, I will use every last bit of my strength to rip them - and you - apart." She sighs, aggravated.

"Did they give a budget on this one?"
