He walks over to Cole.
"Psst. Cole."

 

"I'll repeat myself one more time - get rid of mimics, save citizens, and think about other things later."

He's startled.
"O-oh, hey."

 

"Yeah yeah yeah. Save people. Kill mimics!" I say, hyper.

 

“And I’m not going to ask you to.”
I step into the pile, looking for something.

 

Alice cuts the connection, sighing.
"Don't overdo it, Lady Tenebrae..." Alice thinks, heading outside.

 

Shadow Stephanie just watches.

It's still dark outside, though Alice can see like it's broad daylight, the only difference being the moon in the sky.

 

"I got good news and bad news. What do you want to hear first?"

 

Alice goes over to her porch, retrieving her handgun and looking towards the skyrail.

"Your call. I don't have a coin to flip."

 

"Okay, good news first."
He smiles.
"I found Tuer."

 

The skyrail doesn't move, nobody controlling the stations at night.

 

"And the bad?"

Alice opts to head to the community center, mostly looking for the next set of fae scrolls.

 

I pull out a colorful book, which I stick down my back, then start making my way back the way we came.

 

There seems to be a scroll pinned on a particularly messy looking bulletin board, faded notes and papers cluttered all over it. The gold scroll stands out, seeming to be a list of particular items.

Shadow Stephanie follows you, not questioning anything.

 

"He told us one of your siblings died. But he wasn't sure who it was."
He lowers his head.
"Sorry for your loss."

 

Alice makes note of the list, then checking the scroll on the bulletin board.

"W-well... seeing any of them again was more than I thought I'd manage." He sighs.

 

The scroll contains the list, pinned to the bulletin board.

 

"Want me to bring you to them?"

 

"Are they near?"

She checks the other notes, somewhat curious.

 

Most are faded or unreadable, but the ones she can read seem to be requests for items on the scroll.

 

"He's on the other side of the mountain."
