Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"N-No, she didn't hurt me." Rin says.

There's a few disturbed rotted leaves and pawprints, but Onyx seems to have vanished.

 

"I'm glad you're okay..." Ali says, gently hugging Rin.

 

Rin seems comforted, though she nervously glances to where Onyx went.

"Sorry I couldn't get you any extra ingredients." Rin says, disappointed in herself.

 

"No, it's okay. I'm just glad you're okay."

 

"Thanks." Rin says, smiling.

 

"I just need to get down the mountain."

 

Ali gets up again.
"We probably shouldn't keep Mish waiting."

"And up again? I saw you looking at the centaur."

 

Rin nods, deciding to sit on Ali's shoulder.

 

"Could you fly me down? And maybe up again?"

 

"Well, I can't fly, but I can dig you a tunnel so you don't have to slide down."

Ali heads back to her kitchen, looking for Mish once she gets back.

 

Mish seems to be chopping up a carrot with a knife, using it more like a shortsword due to her size.

 

"Guess who I found?" Ali calls.

 

Mish turns around.

"Rin!" Mish says, flying over to Rin and hugging her, "Are you ok?"

"T-The palace cat pounced on me." Rin explains.

"She didn't hurt you, did she?" Mish says, letting go and looking over Rin, delicately checking her wings.

"No, she just liked looking at me, like I was an ornament." Rin says.

 

Ali sits down, thinking as she leaves the two fae to talk.

 

"Yes please."
He smiles.

 

"Come down, don't take too much ice with you." It says, worming its way back in the hole it dug in the ice.

 

“Paying attentions seems more interesting than just hanging out.”

 

Mish and Rin head over to the chopping board where Mish was working, Rin collecting vegetables and washing them as Mish goes to chop them up.

 

"Yeah, but I need the little shadow things to get back so I can get my armor repainted and the crystals replaced and stuff."

Ali keeps quiet, watching them work.


Ihra shows up at the shadow palace.
"Okay, is Aj busy now?"

 

Mish and Rin seem to work together well, eventually both putting the chopped up vegetables into their own separate bowls.


The guard shakes his head.
