Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra tries to telekinetically trip the guards, and if that fails, she takes a few steps backwards.

"I'll try and get in touch, wherever I go settle down at."

 

The guards can't be tripped, though Ihra notices them oddly starting to thin out near the back.

 

Ihra flips her staff into an axe and cleaves into the group of guards, spitting poison.

 

The guards that survive assault Ihra with their swords, trying to cut her.

 

“See you around, if you do.”
I head past him, down to the moat to wash the robe.

 

"You want to help, yes?"

 

Their blades, unless heavily enchanted, can't even cut her robe as she lets out a roar with a breathweapon that causes flowers to start growing on the guards, pollen embedding itself under their skin.

He heads out, and you're left alone.

"Help, no, but there's no reason to kill off them all."

 

I wash the robe, taking the time to clean my rag, before going back up and covering the king’s body with the robe.

 

"Looking for you. To apologize."

It looks less brutal now, or at least it no longer resembles a crime scene.

 

"For what?" I ask, glancing around.

 

Ihra keeps an eye on the servant.
"Worrying about Eve. I heard you got super riled up at what Idhaenna said about her."

 

"Yeah, she was extremely rude about it." I say.

The servant seems to be backing up in fear.

 

Ihra turns and grabs the servant.
"I didn't know it'd get lost in translation that badly. By the way, can we, like, spare one person? And why are you here?"

 

I clean up the cuts using my rag, and cover his body completely with the robe.

 

It looks even less like a crime scene, except for the slit throat.

 

"A guy was trying to combine science and magic to create a powerful weapon. I came here to stop him and his army before he succeeded, and now I just need to make sure my escape route is clear to save the one person I'm sparing." I say.

The servant screams out of fear.

 

"Oh. So you will still eat them then? If you find them, that is."

 

I tilt his head down, putting away my rag, then checking the condition of the guards.

 

"What escape route? The door's wide open."

Ihra sighs.
"Okay, if you keep screaming in my ear, I'm gonna let him kill you."

They're stirring, weary.
