She leans up against you.
"No need to hope, silly."

Idhaenna sighs, shaking her head.
"Worry about your home domain before you set your sights on the wonders of your reality. Perhaps I can find a spacecraft that's willing to take you for a tour."

"Yeh, I'm the blacksmith. Someone's gotta work the metal."

 

"That's...literally what I've been doing." I say flatly.

 

"Hehe. I know."
He gives her a pet on the head.

 

"You've developed an extremely dangerous killer robot, put an orphan in there and made her programming overwrite her own emotions, yet you can't master your own domain?"

She rubs against your hand.
"You're worth getting chased."

 

"What the hell do you know about Eve!?" I shout, suddenly angry, "I didn't just shove some random girl in there as a macabre experiment to see if I could make her into some kind of super soldier!"

 

"Then why suppress who she is?"

 

"Aah~ That's sweet. I really missed this."

 

I lunge at it.

 

"I'm not...I'm not suppressing who she is! I'm giving her freedom!" I shout, the subject clearly sensitive.

 

"It's love, isn't it? Why wouldn't it be sweet?"

Idhaenna glares at you.
"Are you? Are you really?"

You... cut the fish in half.

 

I glare back.

"You know what, why don't you just succumb to the hive master. See if I care, I'll be happy killing you to get you out of his control," I shout, "Come on, we're leaving this place."

I open a portal, motioning the group through as I walk through.

A few of the Shadows start to move, even Aeris, though Shadow Stephanie puts her arm out to stop them, before closing the portal.

 

"It is. It really is sweet."

 

"Is overriding another's thoughts to carry out your own will not the same as mind control?"

"Here's to hoping the storm doesn't put a damper on that."

 

"Well, Eve's thoughts are never actually overridden. If she doesn't want to do something, she won't do it," Shadow Stephanie sighs, "It's sort of like if someone was with her the whole time, and they told her to do things. She can easily say she doesn't want to do it, and she won't."

 

"I had been told she followed orders while refusing to think about the matter."

 

"Where'd you hear that?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Let's hope for the best. Nothing more we can do."

 

"If I told you, you'd kill them."

"Yeah..."
Pause.
"...But there's gotta be something to do while we wait."

 

"Is it Ali? Or Ihra?" Shadow Stephanie guesses.
