Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Wow. I feel really terrible for seeing you as a bad...being. You're not evil at all! Man, I feel like I've been on the wrong side all along now..." I say, annoyed at myself.

"Look, I don't think we should be talking about Crelucium, it tends to cause panic," Stephanie says, sidling up to you, "You keep quiet about all this and I'll make it worth your while."

Stephanie raises and lowers her eyebrows suggestively.

 

"Every creature is entitled to their own opinion. Differing perspectives offer different viewpoints."

 

"I don't know what to believe anymore." I say, sitting down and contemplating deep thoughts.

 

"Well, as confusing as this all may be, be wary of your next actions. Not everyone is forgiving."

 

"I'm even more confused. You'll crush me in an instant if I do something wrong, but I can only imagine the seething hate I'll get from Ihra." I say.

"Maybe we have to be secret besties. I don't think Ihra would like me being friends with you, unfortunately." I say sadly.

 

"Friends is still a relative term. Good luck with your affairs, but tell Abigail that this was her first and final warning."
Xlentia curls up next to her hoard, tendrils settling down lazily as she shuts her eyes.

 

"Does uh, something happen now or am I sort of stuck here?" I ask.

 

I count off on my fingers, "Panic among who exactly? Also, not talking about something in the hopes that it goes away is something I'm sworn not to do. Moreover, it's something I'm sworn to give others the ability to do. On top of all that, I doubt that there's anything you'd be able to offer me that I'd actually be interested in. And before you get any odd ideas, I'm less human than Thirteen."

 

She lifts her claw, and as she taps it, you three appear where you were.
The bracelet the servant gave you, though, is gone.
Ihra looks panicked, but hugs you once she sees you.
"You just disappeared! What happened to the other two?!"

 

"I'm sure I could fix that inhuman issue of yours." Stephanie says seductively, putting a hand on your chest. Your chest begins to feel more lively; organic.

"I'm unsure. I found Abigail with a gun to Katie's head, then Xlentia shows up and Katie fainted, then Abigail knocked herself out." I say, hugging Ihra.

"Also, small question: How would you feel if I was friends with Xlentia? This is purely hypothetical, trust me." I ask.

 

"It'd be weird. She doesn't like mortals since she was betrayed."
She starts trying to heal Abigail and Katie.

 

"Buuuut you wouldn't hate me if I was?" I ask, smiling.

The healing proves to be quite effective.

 

"Not unless you keep scaring me." She pouts.
She casts another spell, meant to get the two unconscious back to their senses.

 

Katie sits up, gasping. Abigail gets up and looks around, "Oh cool, Aj did something right."

Abigail seems to notice Stephanie and Lupyx, "Hey, Aj, can I have a notebook please?" She asks.

I hand Abigail a notebook and pencil, and she immediately starts drawing and writing.

"I'm glad we're back." Katie says, shaking slightly.

 

Ihra hugs Kaite.
"What happened? You just disappeared..."
She's on the edge of tears.

 

Her hand goes straight through my chest without resistance.
"Nothing would be that simple. Not to mention the fact that restoring my humanity would probably turn me into a genocidal near-godlike being of pure darkness."

"Lemme take a wild guess, 'I ship it!.' You people are just... strange."
I look genuinely bewildered.

 

"It was Crelucium. He grabbed me and took me away, and began...torturing me." Katie says, shaking and tearing up.

"Maybe we just need to put you in a more organic body the way you are. Besides, I'm sure Aj could restrain you if you were a Shadow." Stephanie says with silken words.

"Purrhaps." Abigail says in an odd tone, drawing in her notebook.

"What." I say, giving Abigail an odd look.

 

"Is that who grabbed me?!"
Ihra's panicking a bit.

 

"I...I think so. He asked me who you were when he was torturing me. He was going to use you as a bargaining chip with Xlentia." Katie says, shaking a lot.

 

I shake my head, exasperated.
"I've tried that already. Not only do most organic bodies reject partial entities such as myself, but usually the original owner of the body wants to keep the body for themselves."
I shrug.
"Not that I really care. The part of my soul that would've gone through thick and thin for a new body was forcibly removed. I don't have any drive to reclaim lost humanity."
