Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You mean Sgavrinn?" He thinks.
He smiles at the dragoness.
"Children.. can't do anything about it."

 

Voidfiller sighs.
"I don't like taking risks."

 

Yeah, that. Him. Whatever.

"Just hope they grow up and don't get picked out of the sky... that's all you can really do."

"Just go, I'm the only one alive who even knows what a taser is."

 

"Yep. Help them as long as you still can."

 

"Yeah... here's to hoping for the best." She sighs, exhausted.

 

"Do you maybe need some help? I don't have much to do now that those guardians are fighting."

 

"Ooh, yeah." The smith says.


A funeral is held for Sapphire, the guardians and light creatures bowing their heads in respect as one of the light creatures says kind words and wishes Sapphire a safe transition and stay in the afterlife.

 

"I cannot say that I do. Would you be so kind as to introduce yourself?"

 

"Looks like I'm famous."

 

"Fine."
Voidfiller flies off with a gust of wind, going back to the man he left behind.

 

"If you could figure out a way for them to get energy out without hurting yourself, I'd be grateful."

He's sitting off to the side of a road, going through the fourth roll.

Something like that.
Since everything here looks undisturbed, you're free to set up a base camp here if you'd like.

"Erevne, queen of Terregis. Or, since you are probably unfamiliar with the name, the prominent kingdom down here."

"I'll look into making a spice like that." Ali says. "Would you mind asking the other smiths for their opinions?"

 

"Sure, I'll mention it." The smith says.

 

"I could play around a bit. Do they have sharp claws or is it just their thorns?"

 

"Thanks. It'd be nice to have an idea of what to go for once I start... the hardest thing I've done is to cook a dish to please someone I've never met."

"They definitely have claws..." She grumbles.

 

Voidfiller lands beside him carefully, seeing if the unconscious man is still there.

 

"Well obviously asking what they like is the right path." The smith says.

 

"Yeah... I just can't take that much heat." Ali admits.

He's right where you left him; the other man just walked into the respite to eat. (Voidfiller can see both easily)

 

“Hey.”
Voidfiller speaks up.

 

The smith looks confused.

 

"Aha.. is there anything they like to do? Run around or play with rocks?"
