"If not you, you clearly know some people who are smarter than all of us dimwits here combined."

 

"You guys aren't that dumb."

 

I leave and make my way to the island.

 

"And to think we we're never told of the lands down under the earth. This is breathtaking."

I let out a small cough and turn back to Reiglynn.

"So, is there a way you can get me down to the cities?"

 

"Oh.. could be worse."
He pets Anne and then gets up.

 

There doesn't seem to be much else, apart from normal cultural things.


"I could try that." Artemis says.


"Hm, alright." Lielia says.

 

"Nah, I'm just a smith who bothered to whip out a dictionary at some point. Everyone else isn't much better than me."

Ali looks back at the screen and sees how to return the book.


"Let me know if it works."


"Do you want me to gather her war puppets as well? I could also send over her war blueprints, if you want to look at the tech behind them. Sort of ironic; such old tech, their joints are stronger than any bolt or weld."

Anne moans before curling up into a ball, the wyvern glancing over at you.

The lake's conveniently covered in a bit of a fog, but teleporting over is still possible. On the flip side, go now and a few people will notice you.

 

“I’ve seen some less smart people. Or, I guess it depends on what you define intelligence as.”

 

He just smiles.
"Common sense is a bit lacking, but other than that, we're not really all that bad. Still, we're a long shot from robotics."

 

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the destruction of the majority of your world took part in that.”

The machine Ali used to retrieve the book doesn't appear to have that function, however Ali sees an earth guardian scan their book and put it into the machine next to them, tapping a few things before the book disappears.


"I shall." Artemis says.


"No no, we'll just need the puppets." Solus says hastily.

 

Ali glances over at them before stepping towards them.
"E-excuse me?"


Ihra lets the link drop, warping away.


Pause.
"...As you wish. My apologies to speak lowly about your people's advancement."

 

"The Genesians built all of this? How did they manage to build all of this with nobody noticing?"

 

"They didn't. Erevne, the queen down here, gave them some land and tools to get started."

 

"You awake?"
He smiles at the wyvern, already knowing the awnser.

 

He nods, the dragoness looking over.
"Quite the rare sight as a guest... then again, I suppose that some think that of dragons."
