"And to be honest, if the prison guard wasn't so uptight with hating us, I could have him verify our alibi that we've been stuck in a cell for this. If you care, I heard two people whispering while the guard was taking his afternoon nap, neither voice I recognized."

 

“...Yes, I care about that. How complicated is this kit?”

 

"Alright. Now I just wait for a few hours, so that my human body can get some sleep. Then I'll wake myself up and sleep as a werewolf."

 

"Considering you're a robot, I'm sure it's not as advanced as you'd be used to. Ink for fingerprints, a blacklight, a bit of powder... pretty sure it's makeshift, but it works."

You may as well kill time while you're in a spirit body. Explore the rest of the cave, maybe?

 

"I guess. Not much else to do."
He walks towards the darker part of the cave.

 

“Yeah, actually, that works. It’d just be hard to match up prints without any tech.”

 

The crate remains untouched.

 

You sort of have nightvision in your spirit body, and as you go further down you see the other dragon curled up next to a dragoness that's about equally spiked.

Ren waits near the crate, letting the day go by if need be.

"If you have a normal light, there's a slide viewer as well."

 

"Oh, he has a wife. That's cute."
If that's all, he heads back.

 

There's a smaller opening nearby, a few young (they don't quite look as young as hatchlings) dragons sleeping in a pile off to the side.

 

"Ah. Even children. Amazing."
He takes a closer look at them.

 

“Good to know. Do you have a lab for this?”

 

They also have some spikes on their back, a few starting to grow small horns.

"Nope. Never had one. It's always been a basement operation."

 

The day carries on...

Terrae emerges from his portal, closing it and calling for a servant.

 

A servant runs over.
"Yes, your majesty?"

 

"Aw, they're so cute."
He steps back.
"I probably shouldn't touch them."

 

Something, kids, trip, something, purple plumage, something, something, society, something.
The were traveling some where and were camping here.

 

"The underground seems a lot less toxic than we were all told as children. Do people live underneath the crystals?"

 

Flowers seem to line the shelves of the shop, as well as starter kits with seeds and tools, as well as them individually.

 

“Good to know.”
I look at his encased legs, then approach him.
“Here, let me help with that.”
