Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Me? Nowhere, obviously."

Being in a dream, you wind up in the spectral plane.

 

Voidfiller rolls his eyes.
"Where were you running to?"

 

There seem to be both casual and more posh dresses, as well as many types of dark coloured cloak; designed to hide the wearer.

 

"Ugh.. Not again."
Angry he looks at his body.
"I feel bad for my other self."

 

"Remind me why you want to know?"

Maybe you should sleep in beast form, then?

Ali thinks for a moment before leaving, heading for less wealthy parts of town.

 

Once Ali gets to the more middle-class part of town, she finds less extravagant clothing in the shops, though they're much cheaper.

 

"'Cause I like knowing things. Remind me why you're being so secretive about it?"

 

"Yes. But then we have the problem that my human form can't sleep."

 

Then maybe wait until you're worn out. Then you'll go into deep sleep, maybe.

"Because neither of us have trust for the other at the moment."

She looks for a gardening shop.

 

“Okay. Keep the info. You’ll spill to someone eventually.”
Just then, I fly overhead, and land near Voidfiller.
“Nice work.”
“Thanks.”

 

"I mean, I could try. I could go for a quick sleep and then change to my werewolf form and let that one sleep.Think that'll work?"

 

Ali finds a plant nursery tucked away between a few shops, various different plants both outside the shop and visible within.

 

"Yeah, I'll talk to him, on the condition you let us go. I ain't dumb; these brutes'll throw us back in cells whether or not we're guilty."

She heads inside, looking for gardening tools or small flowers.

How would you transform after you doze off?

 

"Go to the spectral plane and wake myself up. Then transform."

 

That'd be a fairly good plan. If you don't dream, then you're both getting sleep. If you do, then you can get sleep in both forms anyways.

 

“Him?”
“There’s a lot of ‘him’s here, bud.”

 

"Robot. If I was talking to you, pretty sure I'd use 'it...' unless you told me what you prefer."
Pause.
"The hell are you, anyways?"

 

“That’s unimportant.”
He turns to me.
“I’m going to see how the other two are faring.”
Before I can answer, he flies off with a gust of wind.
“Well? Just us here.”

 

"We were hoping you wouldn't notice. We've got an old forensics kit, but we got thrown behind bars because a few people called it black magic. To keep it safe, it's split up into four smaller boxes that we've hid. Three out in the ruin, one in town."

 

“Ah. Well, that’s not all terrible.”
