OOC: wait, Vesius can read minds?

"Then what did cause it?"
I ask, already heading towards the plume.

 

OOC: Most of the prominent ten that will show up can. Ihra can't unless she succumbs to the control of her staff, Nyre can only predict combat actions, Feiha can't, and one other draconian in each group can't, both the leaders of their group.

"I don't know. Nyre hasn't used that much energy doing anything in centuries." I chuckle.

 

OOC: Well then... he know's I'm a robot. Or has my character just not shown that yet. Also, Thirteen never inquired on Vesius reading his mind, so i guess he doesn't really know about that yet. Well, Ignorance is bliss, as they say.

"Nyre? Not only does he sound like a badass, but where do you know him from and why does he have that much energy?"

 

"Where do I know him? He's another Fragme-crap. Well, I blew that badly. Alright, I'll tell you the truth. Those that come here are likely fragments of our world's deities. There are two groups, and Nyre and Feiha are in the other group."
I stop moving, irritated with myself.
"And if you even consider asking, we all have that much energy potential, he's just comparatively lazy."

Character Name: Äforl

Race: Human Wizard

Ability(ies): Create small things using magic, teleport, and fire small magic projectiles

Blade, Bow, or Tome?: Blade & Tome

Position in community: An offcast, very few people have ever known of him.

Additional Details and Lore: An offcast of the human race, feared for the magic I control, I have left on a very long journey, to the edge of the known world. There I found a cave, which had a great fountain of magic, which could fuel my abilities when I am near it.

Relative location of settlement: A cave near the very edge of the world, infested with magic

 

"Wait, wait, wait. So you're saying you were not your own being before coming to this world?"
I ask, as confused as if I saw a pink elephant with poka-dots with a lions head, with fins, and riding a skateboard.

OOC: idk, that image sounds confusing enough.

 

Looks good, assuming you realize that I'm probably never going to add the accent over the A. If you're okay with that, you're in.

"Okay... there are two groups of us. We are fragments of our fallen gods. If that's not sinking in, I'm not burning my time on this subject." I look like I'd kill you if I knew you any less than I did.

"Okay, I think I got it."
I comment, quickly wanting to end the subject.
"Well, let's see that it is."
I continue going towards it.

 

Adding you to the char list, let me know when you want to start.

I end up letting you lead.
We're not exceedingly far from No Man's Land now; you start to hear movement other than ours.

 

I stop, and make Vesius stop as well.
I wait and listen for a moment.
"You hear that, or is that just me being paranoid?"
I whisper to Vesius.

 

"It's not one of my kind."

 

OCC: Ik, but I didn't want to leave you out of the conversation between me, you and Ihra.

After Ihra's staff starts glowing, "Uhh... I think I see the way this conversation is going..."
After seeing Reflet disappear I say, "Sorry about that Ihra, Reflet does sometimes get quite angry. Especially from what I've heard about her past, she is quite quick to anger."

 

OOC: I guess I can start now.

 

Ihra is consumed quickly by a crystal that levitates a few feet off the ground after shrieking at the sight of the plume. You can see her inside, but she's not moving.

 

Walking out of the cave you found, you feel someone or something watching you.

OOC (Edit): Sorry, en route to school, a bit distracted

 

OOC: If you want someone to be a God, you could make it more noticeable (e.g. make a notice section which says something like, "There is still a space for third God.")

OOC: I forgot the plume. Oh well... this is going to go badly...
I mutter, "Oh great... never thought Reflet would go this far... I mean, I knew she could be angered... but this is similar to when I destroyed the Lost Kingdom fleet...."
"Hmm, I guess the crystal is a protective thing... if I stop the plume, then the crystal might go down again... Ah, this might help stop it..."
I then chant to summon the Infernal Beast. "Jofsim Ceftu! Tupiq uif Gesf!" (Infernal Beast! Stop the Fire!)

 

Turning around, Aforl doesn't see anything. "Who's there?"

 

The plume is put down, but the crystal isn't.
Ihra still doesn't budge. She looks asleep from here.

"I don't know if I should tell you." A female voice mutters.
"Not like I'm in the position to, but I could ask the same thing."

 

"Is this a trap?" Aforl turns around warily, looking for any possible hiding place.
