Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Everybody died. Well, everybody that mattered, died."

 

"In a good or a bad way. We'll see."
He laughs.
"Shall we go back inside or would you like to stay outside a little while longer?"

 

Aqui tries to crush Abigail with an icy stomp.


Abigail's heart continues to react, a darkness within it growing.


The nobody starts creating a massive ball of twilight energy above it's head, filling the size of the hallway and extending outside it before throwing it toward Iris.

Now would be the time to try and strike back, if Iris can figure out how to move her limbs.

Emerald tries to purge the darkness, annoyed.


Iris smiles.
"Tag out, tag in. She knows you'll never have me."
A barrier is thrown up in front of the ball, aiming to reflect it back at the nobody.

I like the breeze. Haven't felt snow for a long time, either...

"...So, extremely poorly."

 

"We'll stay a little longer then."
He lays down in the snow.

 

"For them. I'd still be rusting away in that old lab. Figuratively speaking."

 

His beast form starts making a snow angel, though it mostly just makes your fur wet as the snow melts to your body heat.

"So, the others revolted and let the other experimental builds out... at the cost of the creators."

 

"That.. looks great? It's almost a full circle."

 

"Not quite. They built Nineteen, and it was only a few minutes after his completion when he just... wiped out everyone."

 

Abigail gets crushed by Aqui's icy force, but quickly darts out of the way as Aqui tries to stomp again, blasting her with hot fire.


In attempting to purge the darkness, Emerald just makes things worse, massive amounts of it erupting out of Ruby as it begins to take form, Ruby feeling Abigail's heart leave her.


The ball stops against the barrier, damaging it heavily before the giant Nobody punches through it, accelerating the ball and punching Iris in the process, though she's not moved from her stuck position.

 

"Yes, I have an inquiry as to what Xlentia would appreciate as a gift."

 

Aqui finds this attack to be completely ineffective, no energy lost on her part.


Emerald freezes time around Ruby and the darkness, scanning her library for anything that might help.


Iris tries to shift a bit, phasing through the attack as Ihra flings the ball back at the nobody with slightly more speed.

"...Now's a really bad time. Do you have any jewels that might be big enough for her to actually see?"

"Including the other prototypes?"

"Most likely, yes."

 

"Most of them. Some survived, I think. I didn't find their corpses."

 

"That's a fallback. She also likes shiny things, and anything that she can wear that looks nice."

"You think Nineteen would ever come after you?"

 

"I don't think so. I think he just wanted to cause destruction in general."

 

"Do you remember where the facility used to be? It sounds like an interesting place to make a painting of."

 

"I see, thank you."

 

"Remember, if she can't see it, she'll think your crazy. Also, she's currently channeling a spell of erasure, so I'd hold off if I were you."

 

"Yeah, perfectly. I could take you some time, but it's quite the walk."
