Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra throws up a barrier, shielding the ground as Gaia rears up.

Iris shows up, a fair distance behind Abigail.
"Aww, it's the wannabe badass! You're barking up the wrong tree, you three legged pup!" She giggles.

True... but it would have to grow from a child. If it showed signs of being as disgusting at this one, the other guardians could kill it easily.

"Yes, the shadows speak of it. To this day I struggle to get it out of my head, since it's been affecting my painting."

 

"Yeah I guess you're right. Let's just hope that this all ends quickly."

 

"Hm. Well, I was wondering if you could help with it."

 

"Say, why don't you join us? You'd make a lovely nobody." Abigail says as a group of nobody's run toward Iris.

 

The sooner, the better. Ideally before the wedding.

"The only problem with that is I'd have to join a bunch of insecure losers, and frankly, I can't get my way if I play that game." She giggles, splitting into three clones and getting into a battle stance. "On the bright side, I figure none of your friends'll bother to stop my fun for the moment, so let me know how you feel once you've got no body left!"

Ihra rolls her eyes, starting to charge spells.

"I-I'm sorry, but absolutely not! The last thing I want to do is commit to being a part of my nightmares!" She says, a bit shocked.

 

Abigail's chakrams fly out toward Iris, before spiralling around her, creating tornadoes of flames that slowly draw in closer to her before Abigail runs up and kicks her in the face, nobodies behind her slicing at her.

 

Iris cuts into Abigail's foot before blinking, absorbing the flames near her as she blasts the nobodies with trielemental beams that leave marks on the floor.

Ihra glances at you nervously.
"Okay... Xlentia has her stuck here. She can't get out, but you going after her was a really bad idea. I'm open to suggestions..." She whispers.

The melody slowly falls silent, each fae landing and starting to grow vines towards Gaia.

 

"Alright. If you feel that way, I respect your wishes."

 

The nobodies' bodies warp around the blasts, as some disturbingly fly toward Iris. A few nobodies seem to resemble coins, before flipping onto the shapes of swords and spears that try to slice into Iris. A few of the larger nobodies block Iris' attacks with their giant hammers, before swinging them at Iris.

Abigail dives into the ground in a blast of fire, before erupting below Iris and slicing at her with her chakrams, before diving back into the ground and repeating the process.


"I would think she's weak to ice and water, try helping Aqui or Katie attack." I say.

 

She nods, taking a deep breath.
"I'm sorry to lash out at you, but I can't and I won't commit to that."

 

"We have yet to select a date, so it probably will be before the wedding."

 

"It's okay, I understand. War's not for everybody."

 

Ihra nods.
"Aqui, you're not going to like this, but... I want you to let Gaia bind you to herself."


Iris lets herself take a hit, bloodletting resulting in a massive temperature drop as the flames she controls turn to frost.
"There, feel better, cripple? Oh wait, I have your feelings! Hah!"
The body that was cut disintegrates as another forms and tries to telekinetically cut a few of the other nobodies.

"We're not soldiers; being caught between two tribes hurt enough."

Right... Anne probably has it all planned out already, though, knowing her.

 

"Right, just thought I'd try. Everything helps, y'know?"

 

She nods.
"Forgive me for letting my emotions overwhelm my manners."

 

"Probably, she does those things. Although I'm not sure if I should ask her about it. She'll probably tell us, right?"

 

"W-What!?" Aqui asks, shocked.


"Your attempts to weaken me are hilarious." Abigail says, rising from the ground and letting out a massive explosion of fire, everything wooden lighting on fire as the temperature rises to extremely high temperatures in response.

A few of the nobodies are killed, but more swarm Iris, cutting deep wounds if they hit her.

 

"You are going to be given the power of a high god, and then you need to help fight Abigail. If we don't beat her, Xlentia's gonna erase her!" Ihra says urgently, vines starting to snake towards Aqui.


"Weaken you? No, you're holding back and that's no fun!"
There's nothing wooden nearby, Iris smiling as her scales become covered in frost.
"Come on. You're a nobody, you've got no chance at getting your old life back. Show me that desperation that wants to badly to defy that truth!"

 

"I get used to it."
I smile.

 

Well, if you ask her we'll be sure. If you don't, then we'll just be waiting for her to run her mouth again.
