Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I land near it, looking it over.

 

"Ugh, fine." Shadow Stephanie says, picking up the leftover corpses and stuffing them into one of the police cars.

 

"...Get rid of the car, and I'll clean up the rest of this. Just... calm down a bit." He sighs.

There are a few mantis walking around nearby, as well as a human that's near two raptors (who are probably digging holes for new seeds). Other than that, there's not much activity going on at all.

 

"Planning to." Shadow Stephanie says, stuffing the last corpses into the car before opening up the hood, messing about with the engine and internal parts before slamming it down and getting in.

 

I head to the house that had the group of humans before, taking my time to stroll.

 

Sivius rolls his eyes.

It's empty this time, though only from the respite can you see that the sky is fairly dark.

 

I fly away to Aral'hrah territory, trying to track him down.

 

There's a fairly large mound with a few smaller dirt walls around it where his den used to be. Seems the ruined area went through a bit of improvement.

 

I inspect the mound, making sure not to crumble anything.

 

Shadow Stephanie starts the car, driving it off into the distance. A short while later, there's an explosion, Shadow Stephanie flying back a few minutes later.

 

It's clearly a den, though it's slightly elevated and has a tiny hole in the top.
You can see a few tail feathers sticking out the edge of the mound on one side, which is even more of a giveaway.

Sivius sighs, letting Shadow Stephanie do her own thing.

 

I check who the feathers belong to, still being extremely careful.

 

"So, why did you want me again?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Mostly to make sure you weren't doing exactly what you just did, but that went out the window." He shrugs. "Mostly was going to ask if you were about ready for the drink or not."

You don't recognize their coloring, but they hardly move.

 

"Oh, sure. Let's drink!" Shadow Stephanie says happily.

 

"Clean up, get back to palace, then let's drink." Sivius sighs.

 

I keep walking around, looking for other structures like the mound, walls included.

 

There are a few others, but mostly just walls around den openings, probably to help keep out the wind a bit.

 

"Jeez, you're such a murder buzzkill," Shadow Stephanie says, kicking a leftover organ, "I could've possessed one of those cops, driven their car back to this city's jail, then had all those criminals to eat! Like a valentine chocolate box of people I can make suffer."

 

I walk back to the big mound with walls, check that the someone's still inside, and sit near it.
