She seems concerned, heading to Xlentia's chamber.

 

Nobody with connections to the other reality that Ihra would recognise seem to be in Xlentia's chamber.

 

"Maybe I can't stop you.. but I can still make your live terrible."

 

Ihra checks for the souls of anyone else in her chamber.

"You have. You have made me miserable, and I won't let you forget it... because I have two children left, and that will never change."
She rears up to take off.
"...Child."
With a massive gust of wind, she leaps off and disappears into the clouds, the ashes and soot getting kicked up and causing you to cough.

 

Nobody who isn't normally in Xlentia's chamber is in Xlentia's chamber.

 

Ihra relaxes a bit, slumping up against a sleeping Xlentia.

 

*cough*
"Make that only one child left!"

 

No response.

I... think she meant that you're her other child. If Rema's her child, then you're also her child. Don't think about it too hard... gods don't really care for the properness of their naming conventions.

 

I decide to head to the library, looking for Emerald.

 

She's at the front desk, preoccupied with a few hundred books.

 

"I'm not talking about myself. I'm talking about Rema. After this, she'll only have one child left!"

 

You're... going to kill Rema?

 

"Emerald, I need to know how to get to Idhaenna's realm." I say.

 

"Who knows.."
He heads back to Anne and the others.

 

"...Your girlfriend's chasing you, so I'm going to say that it's a bad idea and you're not going."

Anne trots over and hops on your shoulder.
"What's wrong? You look really, really ticked off."

 

"So you're just going to let the hive master capture another high god? Glad to see you're opposed to free will. I guess you must have a fetish for it after being under his control for so long." I say, frustrated.

 

He knocks her off.
"Where's Rema!"

 

"Look, you just recovered. The mooks you had been snapping like twigs can chew you up and spit you out right now. If you really have a death wish and want your soul to be turned against your friends, then I'll open the portal." Emerald snaps. "Did you decide that you've got a fetish for dying after getting jealous of all the people you killed and tried it yourself?"

Anne looks hurt.

The wyvern glances at you.
"What's wrong?"

 

"Mooks?" I ask, confused.

 

"My god, you're the one who plays all those videogames!" She grunts. "Those crappy minions you used to kill for fun can snap you in half right now. Unless you really liked dying, you aren't going!"
