Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Tomorrow morning." The sorceress says.

 

"Pyromancer? No, you're wrong. I can't start a fire, I can only spread them. Someone else started the fire - I didn't even plan to start spreading it until I saw so many gathered to fight it. My original intent was to make this nation inland... though I took an opportunity when I saw it."

Ruby nods, taking the rental and waving.
"Thanks. I'll be back then... hopefully."

She leaves, glancing up at the sky near constantly.

 

"You don't own your title as Guardian. You're a monster!"

 

"We all are, werewolf. Every last one of us..." She says, preparing to take off.
"...I'd think that you of all people would have known that."

 

The sky seems dark, a cold wind blowing through Ruby.

 

She quickly glances around, uneasy before she sprints back to the smithy.

 

Flakes of snow begin to fall as Ruby makes it to the smithy.

 

Ruby heads inside, wary before heading to her room.
"...Abigail? You still hanging in there?" She thinks.

 

Abigail doesn't respond.

 

"...Abigail? Can you hear me?"

 

There's still no response.

 

Ruby sighs before opening a portal to the Shadow Palace and letting herself fall through.

 

The guards waiting by the gates keep an eye on Ruby as she falls through.

 

She catches herself telekinetically, glancing at the guards.
"...How much longer on everyone's recovery?"

 

"The king's just recovered, though the elites are due to in about a week." The guard says.

 

Ruby nods before she closes her eyes for a moment.
"...Ihra'll be here any moment. I don't understand her half the time, so... she's coming for 'gibberish, Aj, Gaia, gibberish' reasons." She shrugs.

 

"I'll have the king informed." The guard says.

 

Ruby nods before going to the Void Palace.

 

The guards let Ruby leave.

 

She checks for Eve as she heads through the portal, Ihra bursting out of the portal just before it closes.
