"I do, but I'll keep in mind to keep a look out for a pegasus."

 

It's someone extremely familiar, Shadow Stephanie.

 

" I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps the effects of the drug still hold me. But I still need to know why they want me to not speak to Solis."

 

"About time to drink?"

"Why don't you ask the prisoner yourself? I had Sgavrinn heal a few of his wounds."

"If you see one, try to wave it down. It's rare to get to talk to one."

 

"Yes yes. Anyway, we were talking about the bluffs."

 

"I'll try. I hope this hasn't disrupted your visit too much, Raygyon."

 

"It has, but it's better than being dead."

"Right. No idea where any are, but I like the idea."

 

"We can ask around after we're done. Hell, maybe even the gorgon knows some?"

 

"Good point about the gorgon."
Pause.
"...Any backup ideas in case nobody we ask knows where a bluff is?"

 

"That is true enough. Farewell."

I set off to see the prisoners

 

They're a few steps away, the one that talks in much looser bindings.
"Y-you're not gonna stab me again, are you?"

 

"I won't have to stab you if you cooperate. Now, why do you not want me to speak to Solis?"

 

"Our king wanted to keep you from Solis to prevent you from sending a guard. He's been working on an experimental weapon that can smog up an area with an odd gas that can't be cast aside with a gust of wind, but it takes time to deploy. We can't get it out if the area's guarded, and Solis is the only one with any knowledge about the weapon."

 

"I can't believe your king would ever do something so blasphemous. Clogging the sky? Disturbing the flow of the winds? How can he rest knowing Phykrah weeps at his touch?"

 

"Not tonight, thanks. I don't want to drink while there's still issues that need to be solved." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"We have tried to worship the winds, yet it seems we are only given ruin. Our crops constantly failed... until our king found someone who had lived underground, out of the winds. We traded secrets, and our people no longer have needs for the ruinous winds."

He nods.
"How much off the list did you get done?"

 

"The winds are guidance. The winds are our salvation. If you cast out the winds, why not live underground like the dogs you are? Have you no shame?"

I begin to shout at the prisoners, grabbing his shirt as I speak

 

"You liked the mountains, didn't you?"

 

"Prayed to Tenebrae, checked on Aj and the Elites, sent Eve out in search of Ruby, got in contact with Stephanie and sent out some more search parties for Katie." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

I'll stay near my body for now.
