"Aww, thanks. It means a lot."

 

Bardock pets Rema on her scales.

 

Eve doesn't return after entering the Shadow Palace.

 

Miorah seems concerned, getting up and turning to the guards.
"...Were we not due for execution?"

Rema smiles, glancing at you.
"Thank you, Bardock."

 

The guards don't respond.

 

"No problem." He smiles.

 

Miorah just waits, staring at the guards.

The water washes around your hand every now and then, the moonlight glimmering a bit less as Rema shifts a bit.

"...If it weren't for what happened to Gram, it'd be a beautiful night."

 

The guards just stay on duty.

 

Miorah tries to telepathically link to Artemis.
"How's it going?"

 

"You're right..."
*Sigh*
"Do you believe what the Ziz said?"

 

"What do you mean?"

 

Artemis doesn't respond, she can't seem to.

 

"About the reason why she was so angry."

 

She checks for Artemis' life force.

"I fully believe her, yes."

 

It's hard to find Artemis' life force amongst all the other life forces in the palace, though she manages to find a life force that probably belongs to Artemis.

 

She checks for Shadow Stephanie's life force.

 

"Then I do too."

 

Shadow Stephanie's life force is easier to find, though it isn't near what's probably Artemis'.

 

She opts to wait again.

Rema glances at you again.
"I suggest you make your own decisions. It's fine to have faith in other's decisions, but don't let yourself follow anyone blindly."

 

As the sun begins to set, a lot of the forest guardians start heading inside for the night, and more guards come out to guard the palace.

"Shuffle off. No loiterers in the gardens." One of the stronger looking guards says, pointing to the gates.
