"Other dragons like Rema, but they were picked upon and tortured for their differences. I thought they were all killed, but I'm glad you proved me wrong."

"Yeah, yeah. Go on, killjoy."

Wesley seems to have already prepared Nemmek for your use.

"Just giving credit where credit's due. Perhaps after there's a lull in the conflict, you wouldn't mind helping me study floramancy further?"

 

"Thank you, Wesley. Will you be riding with the company to the forest today?"

 

"I could try." Artemis shrugs.

 

"No, I can't. The king has given me a few tasks of my own today."

Miorah smiles.
"Great. I was hoping I could make a few mutual friends with Ihra. My social skills could use some work, anyways..."

 

"Ah.. in that way. But that doesn't change much, because Gram is still injured."

 

"I see. I hope you will be able to join us soon. It is very nice out in the woods."

I mount Nemmek and prepare to depart for the forest

 

"I just hope Ihra can stay around to be used as a mutual friend." Artemis says, looking at the Shadow Palace.

 

Wesley nods before waving as he enters the castle.

No preparations neccesary; Nemmek's already completely ready to go.

Ihra hugs Artemis from behind.
"I hate to say it, but if you're willing to betray Ihra, then it's a fairly safe bet the Hive Master's getting to you." Miorah comments.

"I cannot heal, but I wanted to apologize for my terrible actions. Please, give me a chance to right the wrongs I've made."

 

"What?" Artemis asks, confused.

 

"I'm saying that if the queen ordered Ihra's execution, then something's very wrong."

 

"Well, that's what I was going to try and find out." Artemis says.

 

"Maybe you should just head in without Ihra?"
"B-but Shadow Stephanie mi-"
"No, she won't. Not unless she kills the king, too."

 

Artemis gives Ihra a confused look.

 

Ihra seems distraught.
"What if you go in there and she just orders your execution, too?"

 

"Well...she'd need Aj's permission, I think. She can't just order my execution without Aj's input." Artemis says, sounding a little nervous.

 

Seeing that Nemmek is ready, I set out of the castle into the forest

 

"I hope..." Ihra sighs, looking off into the distance.

 

Artemis heads up to the front doors of the Shadow Palace, walking inside as the guards let her in.

 

Nemmek takes the route full-speed this time around, and once you get to the village, only Solis is outside.
"I thought you were bringing a regiment with you today." He comments.

Ihra turns to the doors, waiting nervously.
"M-Miorah? Where's Gaia, anyways?"
"She's off exploring Earth, I think."
"Isn't having two Gaias going to lead to confusion?"

 

"I've decided to scout ahead of them, to see if there has been any damage to the forest. I also wished to speak with you. I see you've made contact with Raygyon."
