Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A man dressed in a blue jacket with a darker blue wide-brimmed hat eventually returns, sitting behind the front desk.

"It's nice to be visited for once." Caelia says, laughing lightly.

 

"Oh.. Well that's a good start."
He heads into the forest.
"I'll be back later then."

 

Voidfiller goes up and approaches the man.
"Hello."

 

"Well, I suppose I should introduce myself. Though, you already know my name."

Anne nods.
"Don't overdo it."

 

"I got it. Trust me."
He heads out.

 

As you head out, there's nothing else to be found among the ashes.

There must be better hunting grounds...

 

"Oh, hello. I haven't seen you around here before." The man says with a smile.

"That makes introductions a little awkward." Caelia says.

 

"Well... I am Gaia, but of the other reality."

 

"I know." Caelia says, smiling.

 

"Just going through the motions." Gaia smiles, back blooming in floral patterns.

 

"Yeah, I'm kinda new around here... I was looking for this woman named Alice, does she live around here?"

 

"Would you like some tea?" Caelia offers.

"Oh, you mean the Shadow? She lives in that pleasant house just outside of the village, past the skyrail." The man says.

 

"That sounds nice, please." Gaia nods.

 

Caelia disappears, and there's sounds of a kettle being boiled from another room.

 

Gaia smiles at her counterpart.
"Do you rarely interact with each other as well?"

 

"Oh, it's just outside the village? Thanks."
Voidfiller nods, heading out and following his directions.

 

"We have meetings every so often to discuss things going on in the universe, so we're not as separated as we are from mortals." Gaia says happily.

Voidfiller finds himself back at the house he stepped out of the portal to.

 

He sighs, knocking on the door.

 

"I see. We best be on our way then."

I begin to walk with devarra towards the meeting spot
