"Wow, things are really different in your reality." Gaia says, surprised.

 

“Good.”
Voidfiller nods.

 

"Sort of like how Xlentia is the high goddess of darkness and destruction and Virei'tus is the high god of light and divine judgement."

"...That's a passive-aggressive way of me telling you you're a terrible person."

 

"That's rather interesting," Gaia says, intrigued, "Does having an elemental and non-elemental role apply to all your gods?"

 

"All of the high gods, yes."

 

“No, that’s a passive-aggressive way of telling you I don’t want you knowing stuff about me.”
Pause.
“...And I am a terrible person, anyways.”

 

"You probably interact with mortals a lot then." Gaia says.

 

"Too late on the first count."

"Yes, extremely often. Is that a rarity here?" Gaia asks, putting her staff on the ground and resting on it.

 

“Eh. If I didn’t like people knowing anything about me then I wouldn’t say my name.”

 

"Fair enough. I suppose you're used to this grief."

 

"...In a sense. We don't interact with mortals a lot. If you interact too much, they tend to become dependent on you, and when things go wrong, they either come to you for help or blame you for it going wrong. If you interact with them too little though, they stop believing you have any influence, and eventually they just stop believing in you altogether." Gaia explains.

 

"I've never faced that problem." Gaia shrugs, looking at the guardians.
"Now... I suppose we shouldn't just leave them bowing, huh?"

 

"It seems a little cruel." Gaia says.

 

“Death? Yeah, I’m... fairly used to it.”

 

"Well, what should we do?"

 

"We could go and speak to them." Gaia shrugs.

 

"That and people giving you crap."

"They're in front of us, we may as well." Gaia says, getting up.

 

“Oh, yeah, I’m very used to that.”

 

Gaia walks over to one of the bowing forest guardians.

"M-Mother Gaia! It's an honor to be in your presence." The forest guardian says, looking up.

"Greetings, my child." Gaia says, smiling.

 

"Figured."
Pause.
"Why'd you make Crystal?"
