Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Certainly. What sort of place would you like to see?" Gaia asks.

 

"Anywhere is fine, but I would need more rest if I were to take to the skies. Perhaps we could honor a few mortals with a visit and a blessing along the way?"

 

"Perhaps we could." Gaia says, descending the hill and walking toward what appears to be a town made out of mostly wooden houses in a thick forest.

 

Gaia follows, careful not to crush anything.

 

Animals quickly run or fly out of the way of the gods' presence, though a few forest guardians quickly run back toward the town.

 

Gaia sticks close to her counterpart, glancing at the wildlife as they flee.

 

Birds, squirrels, foxes and deer at all among the fleeing animals.

Once Gaia reaches the town, she finds the entire town's population of forest guardians all bowing to her and her alternate self.

 

Gaia smiles.
"Lady Gaia, would you mind if I transformed into my smaller body? I feel safe here, and think I will be fine..."

 

"Everything is gonna be alright it seems."

 

Anne looks up.
"I guess it worked, then?"

 

"I mean it, it's very im...very important. I must...go to...see her..."

I pass out again

 

"Not at all." Gaia says happily, changing to her smaller form.

 

“There’s so much to know about me, I’d be surprised if you knew more about me than I did.”

 

You wake up on the table again, no IV.
"Better?"

"For my sake, I hope I never do."

Gaia, with a green glow, becomes a large fairy with a larger earthen staff, green orb pulsing at the focus of the staff, clothing rather regal.
"This feels a lot better..." She sighs.

 

"You look a lot like the goddess of faeries." Gaia comments, smiling.

 

"In my reality, I am." Gaia smiles.

 

“What, you think I’m going to kill you if you do?”

 

"No, I just don't want to know."

 

"Oh, then you aren't the goddess of life?" Gaia asks.

 

"I'm both. Technically queen of faeries, but still a goddess."
