Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh, much bigger... Many hundreds, no, maybe even thousands, of times bigger..."

 

Rineth looks at Abigail in desperation.
"I suppose. I hate to taint our record, but I suppose I should've seen it coming."
"Rineth? Before you go..."
"Ihra, you know I can't."
"But... They'd never get to..."
"That's why I can't revert."
"I'm going on my own then."
"You know I can't let you."
"Try and stop me."
"Damnit!"
Ihra's gone.
"Shit. I can't stop them. You guys, can I... Can I ask you to smuggle her back here? She can't save me. Not on her own. The only thing they don't expect is you. Get her out, please..."

"Really...? What kinds of things?!"

 

"Where should we look for her?" I suddenly say.

 

"Say yes, agree and I'll take you there. You better be ready to fight. Never do anything twice or you'll die."

 

"One moment, please." I say, teleporting away.

The entire sky goes dark, and an area quite a distance away goes completely black.

"Take us." My voice echoes.

 

With a flick of his wing, you're in the Void.
Rineth immediately turns to a similar sized deagon, and they get locked in combat.
"Portal up ahead. Follow the blur."

A quickly disappearing series of pink blurs go through the portal. You can see draconians approaching it, all of them armed.

 

Artemis, Abigail and Stephanie run to the portal. I'm nowhere to be seen, but my presence is felt.

"I don't like this place..." Artemis says as she runs.

"I won't let anything touch you." My voice echoes; a dark aura surrounds Artemis.

 

"I'm sorry, but please..."

As you enter, your telepathic link is cut.

You're immediately met with a collapsing wall of magma. Three draconians charge through the magma, broadswords drawn.
The pink flash goes through the wall.

 

Abigail seems happy.

I tear the first draconian apart, leaving only his broadsword.

Artemis fires two arrows at the remaining draconians,

 

The arrow kills one, the other sidesteps.
A barrier causes the lava to splash aside.
There are four Vulcans on the other side, all of them preparing plasma.
Two Volts charge you at blinding speed. Three Aquos are spraying water everywhere.

The pink blur goes past them.

You can see a larger commotion further in.

 

"Uhh...live long and prosper?" Stephanie says to the Vulcans, putting her fingers in an odd formation. A few blank voodoo dolls float from her cloak and begin taking forms.

Abigail dives into the lava, before pouncing on the Aquos; fully armoured. Abigail severely wounds of the Aquos in the process.

Artemis seizes the Volts with thick thorns, before smashing them into the ground.

The last draconian is torn apart like the first.

 

Artemis is rended from behind by claws.
Abigail is coated in freezing water as the Aquos fall back a bit.

An Ethereal phases out of view, diving at Stephanie.

More are coming. The blur is fading. If it fades, you'll lose Ihra's trail.

The place you're on is crumbling.
An eerie portal awaits you below...

Better hit the bridge before it falls.

 

I wander back over to the group, my tea set idly floating around me.

"Where'd everyone go?" I ask.

I shrug. "As long as they don't do any damage here, It's fine with me," I say, sitting down and sipping tea.

 

Darkness surrounds the trio and they disappear, appearing on the bridge.

"Bloody hell..." Artemis swears, wrapping vines around her wound. Abigail warms herself up, her armour protecting her from most of the water.

Quite a few voodoo dolls hang in front of Stephanie, taking the forms of the Vulcans and Aquos. Needles tear them apart, as well as their respective living forms, as the trio runs across the bridge.

 

You seem to be running through a gate of sorts. Inside, you can see Volts looking at you three in terror, their eyes flickering a solid color.

Three groups of three Terras leap out of the ground at you.
Three Ethereals can be seen phasing through you, fleeing fast.

Sgavrinn still seems interested in the tea, sitting around you, humming quietly.

 

Stephanie focuses, a few crystals floating around her. The Terras begin to float, before being thrown to the side with great force. The crystals, now dull, fall to the ground.

The trio rush at the Volts, knocking them out of the way.

 

"It's fine. Many people have been suspicious of me for various reasons."
The white creature suddenly blows a gust of wind at the Wind Dragon, which instantly retaliates with one of its own.
It seems that they are play fighting.

"Not everyone went."
Eras is standing behind you.
Aura and the white creature are still play fighting. The white creature blasts water at the Wind Dragon. The water forms an icy armour over Aura.
Shards are sent flying is a wind swirls around Aura. Some shards shatter on the creature's scales, others lodge themselves in.
The woman is sitting next to the wyvern.
Idala is half watching the play fight, half messing with a crimson red disc.

 

They're in the structures along the side of the path, so I'm going to ignore that.
Gravity intensifies, and a figure flies overhead.
You can see Ihra wriggle out of a Mecha's grip up ahead. She darted right, and a splash of magma can be seen in the same direction.
All three are rended from behind. The Ethereals don't stay to wait for the counteroffensive.

 

The trio struggles, to no avail.

A dark aura surrounds the Ethereals, and they begin to corrupt from within. Dark spikes erupt from them, severely harming them. Abigail struggles out of the grip and kicks her Ethereal to the ground, before trying to free Artemis and Stephanie.

 

A green dragon sniffs at you.
