Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I don't think we're really doing much." Abigail says, getting up.

I keep rolling around on the ground.

 

"Best to keep alive than throw your life away for a hopeless situation."
Rineth looks at Aj.
"Sleep or snap out of that?" He mumbles.

 

I just keep rolling around.

"Surely there's something we can be doing, other than just letting time pass for things to happen?" Abigail asks.

 

"Nothing safe. For now, we have the problem that the other three Corrupted Fragments may awaken Xlentia. Vesius and the others will need to do the same with Virei'tus to keep her in check."

Rineth holds you upside-down using his tail.

 

"Relatively big. Depending on what you compare them to..."

 

"How about we go stop them then?" Abigail asks.

Multi-coloured liquid drools from my mouth onto the ground.

 

"Is there things bigger?"

"That's best left to the others. Ihra needs to survive. Miznyana is best in her hands..."

Rineth slaps you in the face with his wing.

 

"Durrrrr." I drone dumbly.

"So what do we do to fill the time?" Abigail asks.

"I could always work on some alchemy..." Stephanie says quietly.

 

"Getting Ihra up would be beneficial to her safety."
Rineth drops you, then pokes you in the back similar how he does to wake up Ihra. You are almost shocked into normality, but not quite.

 

I appear to be normal for a moment, before the elixir takes over again.

Stephanie starts summoning and de-summoning various potions, sipping them.

"I think this place is fairly safe on its own; but you're probably right." Abigail says.

 

"Well, we have three guardians, a shadow, a sorceress, a demiplant, and a Voidwalker. That'll make mose places fairly safe."

Rineth looks towards Katie's pool.
"Hey, mind giving him an ice bath?"

 

Katie seems rather absent.

"I think Katie might have actually left when Abigail fainted. I certainly don't sense her anywhere near." Artemis says.

"Weird for her to just up an leave like that..." Abigail says.

 

"Well... Two guardians there. Abigail, lava bath him?"

 

"You would want to see us in a lava bath again wouldn't you." Abigail says, narrowing her eyes at Rineth.

"Don't bring it up again..." Artemis says, putting her head in her hands.

"Give him to me." Stephanie says, an uncorked potion in her hand.

 

"No, I don't. I want him to be conscious. And not drunk."
Rineth drops you in front of Stephanie.

 

Stephanie picks me up and puts the potion to my mouth, forcing me to drink it. I seem to snap out of the effects of the elixir, yet I fall to the ground unconscious.

"I can null the effects of the elixir, but that causes him to become unconscious for a bit." Stephanie says.

 

Rineth does the same series of pokes along your back, causing you to jolt awake.

 

"Ughhhhhhhh," I groan, "How long was I out for? I barely remember anything..."

 

Arnold glares at Tirai and then starts walking away.

A strange, white creature starts flying down towards the group. There is someone on top of the creature.

 

"Long enough for Ihra to poison herself to sleep." Rineth seems cross.
