"Well, you aren't the first." Ihra says, still cheery. "I just wanted to know your side of things."

 

"Oh, right. Hang on."
He transforms back to his human form.
"I wanted to ask you about your neighbor, Gram."

 

"Well, he still hasn't returned... did you hear anything about him?"

 

"I shot her because she destroyed Amethyst's home. I didn't know she was with the Shadow King, I just got so mad at her for destroying Amethyst's home for her own selfish needs." Bea says.

 

"Hmm... that doesn't sound very Artemis-like." Ihra thinks. "Just a second..."

She tries to link with you.
"Hey, did Artemis ever get back to you?"

 

"About?" I ask.

 

"I mean literally get back to you. Physically. Like, is she with you?"

 

"Oh, yeah. She's with me right now." I say.

 

"Did you happen to destroy someone's home when you were out collecting relics?"

 

"I don't remember destroying someone's home. There was like, a spider's home I guess which was this giant web? It had this headless draconian called, uh...damn, I can't remember her name." I say, frustrated.

 

"Yeah, the draconian. Her name's Amethyst. Did you destroy the web?"

 

"I think we might have done, actually. I had to cut through the webs to get to the relic." I say.

 

Ihra sighs.
"Okay, did Artemis tell you she got shot while she was in the Light Palace?"

 

"No, she did?" I ask, surprised, "By who? For what reason?"

 

"Okay, before I tell you, I need you to ask Artemis something, okay? If Abigail purposely burned down her forest, would she shoot Abigail? I don't want any other questions, just a yes or no."

 

There's a slight pause.

"If she did it just to burn down her forest, yes." I say.

 

"If she did it to get to and take the young of the dragon she's protecting?"

 

"I didn't, no. It makes me uncomfortable not knowing where he is."

 

Siln hesitates.
"...I'm beginning to fear the worst."

 

There's another pause.

"Most definitely, yes." I say.
