Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"We do this all the time, it's just Sel didn't want to come here because of creeps like you being here." Kia says.

 

Peridot's hand turns into a gatling cannon that spins up.
"A creep... is that what I am?"

 

I jump in front of them with my shield up and bash it into them.

 

Kia's expression turns to fear as she flies back a bit.

 

"I understand, Davarra. I will leave you to your task"

I leave Davarra the letter, and leave her chamber

 

"I am not programmed with emotions, and I have recorded five hundred and thirty two thousand, one hundred and eighty five kills. Is it wise to jeer at me, now knowing that?"

"Have Wesley check in with me in half an hour!" She calls back.

 

I head outside and into a castle courtyard to meditate

 

The breeze carries the smell of the garden, helping you relax.

It's a bit cloudy, though. A bit cold, too.

 

"I-I can get out of your way! J-Just let Sel go and you won't see us again!" Kia says, scared.

 

Meditation helps me warm up

I find a nice patch of grass and calm my mind

 

Peridot lets the gatlung gun stop spinning.
"...But what are you seeking money for?"
Peridot says this out loud, hoping Sel can hear.

The garden is fairly quiet, making it easy to get into a trance-like state.

 

“Yeah... I can’t help with that, sorry.”
“Then let’s get to the door!”
Crystal says, happy.
“Let’s.”

 

"W-Well, everyone needs money, right? W-We usually just g-go scavenging for it to get some extra c-cash to spend, and t-this place seems perfect for it." Kia says, Sel unconscious, presumably fainted.

 

"...The fact you need to scavenge for money concerns me, but that isn't my concern."
The barrier falls and Peridot scans for leftover coins.

The door is working on being reinforced, but not exactly with stones... you're not sure if plants are actually remotely effective for this purpose.

 

The faeries quickly fly off, scared.

A few coins appear to be scattered about the chairs, including a diamond one, as well as the one Sel dropped.

 

Peridot forces the link once more.
"...Hey, there's a diamond in the bleachers. You just going to leave it there?"

 

I keep the calm within my mind

I enter a trance, and begin to slowly mutter incantations under my breath

 

"Y-You can have it! I-I'm sorry for distrubing you!" Kia replies, clearly terrified.

Crystal heads off to work on it anyways as Voidfiller keeps near Gaia.
