I notice Reflet and say, "I haven't seen this Nyre yet... oh and by the way, I may have encountered a draconian when I went to the Darklands, though it wasn't for long. I just noticed that time went slower than it should. I noticed a similar thing just now when the shield darkened. That's why I thought it was something hostile causing it to do that. But anyway, Nyre sounds quite dangerous from what I've heard."

 

"His arrows make me tired! I don't want that many naps."
"She has... a poor grasp... on the concept of death by chemicals." Vei adds, rather bluntly.
(For clarity; Vei's still speaking telepathically)

 

I charge at Feiha, Broadsword in my left hand, ready to switch to both, stone in my right hand, ready to throw if needed.
(The stone is for either breaking an orb that she throws at me, or distracting Feiha before I try to hit her if no orbs get in my way.)

 

Seeing this, her three orbs form a net that leaves you little time to dodge.
You figure you can either be fully trapped, or be snared but risk having all three explode if one hits you.

 

I change my plan, chucking the stone at Feiha.
I get in the defensive stance, raising my Broadsword and pre-charging myself, preparing to take a explosion to the face.

 

You barely have time to wind up before I dive in front of you, taking the net.

You hear three explosions and your vision is quickly obscured by smoke.

After about a minute, the smoke still hasn't cleared.
"You okay? You looked a little prime for death there." I laugh, wings beating to push back the smoke a bit.
"She's rigged this area, I'd get out of here if I were you."

 

"Really? You don't need any help with her?" I say to Vesius, worried about his well-being despite the fact that he just took 3 explosions for me.

 

"She fled. We all have our own abilities, and mine makes me look insane. You coming?"
I'm standing in front of you, looking a bit impatient.

 

"Yeah, I'm..."
I glance nervously at my forearm. There's a breach in the skin that's almost invisible unless you're either looking for it, or just have extremely good eyesight.
"I'm coming."
I catch up to Vesius.

 

Finally out of the smoke, you can tell that there's a wide-radius ring where there's just a storm. Even if you wanted to, looking for Feiha to finish her off would be near impossible.
"You alright? Taking an orb to the face, I have a feeling, wasn't the brightest thing you've done in your life." I smirk.

 

"You'd be surprised." I say, grinning. "I'm about right next to fine."

"There's something that's bothering me. Before we started fight, just about before I blew myself up, Feiha made it pretty clear that you two know each other. Not only that, but she said that you're supposed to be dead. What's that about?"

 

"I... I'm not the most appreciated creature back at home. You could say I'm an alien, and you'd be right. That's why I'm exploring this world; I can't go back, I'd kill myself if I tried." I'm hesitant to respond, only trailing off a bit at the end.

 

"Hm. Seems unfortunate." I say with clear sorrow, but minor recognition in my voice.
"Do you mind if I wield your sword for a few moments?"

 

"I... uh... wouldn't recommend that. You can try if you want, but drop it after a few seconds." I unsheathe it, looking warily at you.

 

"Why's that?" I ask as I reach for the handle.

OOC: Kinda curious how this works with a metal hand, but because it's magic, I'm guessing it's the same effect.

 

"How'd you like to become a statue?" I hand you the blade.

It's extremely light; almost weightless. Your hand starts to stiffen almost immediately, though. You can't seem to reverse the effect.
"There's some lock of sorts on it. It prevents others from using my weaponry against me. Most of us have these locks; Ihra's staff I know has one. Mine paralyzes the holder, and hers can go as far to creating a singularity to get rid of unwanted wielders."

 

I drop the handle.
"Woah. That's pretty cool." I say, intrigued.
"Sorry if I dropped it too hard."

 

"I don't think you can do that," I chuckle, sheathing it.
"Well, shall we keep going?"

 

I say out loud, "Sounds very dangerous then. Should we try to find him or let him come to us?"
OOC: This is one of those classic moments when the person you are talking about finding finds you first...
