Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"If it sets your mind at ease, you've barely come close to me warranting burning you with hostile intention." Abigail says, rubbing her head.

 

"It doesn't, but thanks. It'd be nice if you didn't hate Rineth as much, though."

 

"It's somewhat hard to not have negative feelings toward a being that's tried to bite you in half, amoung other things." Abigail says.

 

"He can't bite anything in half, for the last time... I can stand in the gaps between his teeth."

 

"He could still hurt me if he stabbed me with one of his sharp teeth though." Abigail says, crossing her arms.

 

"Yeah... If you were laying on them. Otherwise, they'd just push you. They're not razor sharp."

 

"Wait...if you were inside Rineth's mouth earlier, that means it was dark; and that means you were getting hurt!" Abigail says triumphantly.

 

Rineth sticks his tongue out. It's glowing.
"Nice try." Ihra smirks.

 

"Well...what if he saw some really tasty food, and tried to eat it, and then ate you!?" Abigail says hastily.

 

"I don't need to eat. This body is a projection."

 

"Well, what if you were in Rineth's mouth, and then Rineth ate an enemy, and then the enemy killed you!?" Abigail says nervously.

 

"Why would I eat an enemy?"
With a flick of his tail, a dark portal opens and shreds a tree to bits, uprooting it and leaving no sign of it. (Before closing)
"I am a Voidwalker. The Void hungers, not I."

 

"Well, what if you were to open a portal, and then Ihra walked too close and got eaten by the void!?" Abigail says hastily and nervously.

 

"If you want to hate me that badly, go ahead. I have been assigned to protect. That is what I do. I and the other Voidwalkers have a perfect record. We never once have failed our task. We are bound until death, and when we do, we have done no less than is absolutely possible. If Ihra falls in, I know precisely where in the Void she is and can retrieve her faster than she can blink."

 

"Well...uh..." Abigail seems to have run out of ideas; and starts hyperventilating.

 

"Are... you okay? Ihra, do something."

A calming aura surrounds Abigail.

 

"I think it might be dangerous, as there might still be some active activity." I open the door, going into the laboratories.

 

You realize that my so called "Finishing move" was surprisingly weak and barely even did anything. I grin, summoning a brick. I "throw" it towards you.

"Calm yourself. You might put yourself out" echoes a flower.

 

"...did it damage the rest of your labs?"
Icicle still looks a bit shaken.

 

Abigail keeps hyperventilating, putting her hands to her head. Her hair ignites.

"Uhh...Abigail?" Artemis asks.

Abigail seems to be whispering something; and seems rather stressed.

"Hey, Stephanie, you got any of that uh...'nice' elixir?" I half-whisper to Stephanie.

Stephanie sighs, and hands me a rather large, black phial, "The stuffs expensive to make you know..." Stephanie says, slightly annoyed.

"Thaaaaank yooooooou." I reply, uncorking the phial and sipping its contents. My eyes begin to fade between a spectrum of colours.

Abigail, despite being rather stressed, torches the flower.
