Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Voidfiller gets up and dusts himself off.
"Sorry, sorry. I was kind of in a rush to get here."
Voidfiller smiles at the guards, before noticing and making eye contact with Crystal, who responds with the same stare.

 

"Okay. Thanks again for the room and the shower."
He waves the Innkeeper goodbye and leaves the inn.

 

He waves back.

It's cloudy, but no longer drizzling.

 

"Just a few more days till the clothes are done." He thinks.
Seeing as it is still a few days away he starts to wander around down a bit, avoiding the arena since he already saw it.

 

You find that there's going to be a carnival of sorts starting tomorrow. That sounds kind of fun.

Hey, sleepyhead! You're forgetting something, aren't you? The smith said that putting a new handle on your axe would be quick. You should have some way to defend yourself without relying on me.

 

"Crap!"
He turns around and head for the blacksmith.
"What was it again? Left of some kind of shop?"

 

The robot flies into the colloseum, before seemingly looking around it.

The guards just remain silent, watching voidfiller.

 

Uhhhh... bake shop? Maybe? Let's check a bar. I'm sure someone in there knows, and there's like four bars in sight.

Xlentia pauses before closing the portal.

There seems to be a note in the middle of the arena, though. It seems to have been there for a while.
"I have been banished from this realm - meet me in the alternate reality so I have no need to tear into this one."

 

Crystal suddenly drops into a portal, and Voidfiller takes a few more seconds to look around, before dropping into a portal as well.

 

Eve pockets the note, before heading back to the Shadow Palace, heading to the portal room to open a portal to the void palace library.

The guards just watch the pair leave.

 

Peridot seems to be waiting.
"I promised someone a duel, and your queen had the desire to see that it was broken. You were not the intended recipient." He says, staring right at her.

 

"What do you want?" Eve asks.

 

"I give you three courses of action. One, report back to your creators and ask I be unbanished. Two, duel me in a nearby realm and win, thus neutralizing me. Three, hope your friends don't cross me during their journeys, lest I kill them all for behaving as if I was not programmed with morals." He says flatly, though his eyes seem to show hints of feeling betrayed.

 

"I didn't know you were banished in the first place." Eve says.

 

"I was banished for speaking of temporary considerations of slaying one of your creators. If I cannot return to fulfill a promise, then I will see that I am the one causing him to break one of his own."

 

"Don't you see your error in performing such an action, and therefore can learn from it and go to apologize yourself?" Eve asks.

 

He heads to the closest bar and heads inside.
"On the left of some shop." He thinks.
He walks over towards the bartender.
"Excuse me."

 

"I cannot apologize if I cannot enter the realm. Furthermore, I will not apologize to the one who I believe wronged me. I will, however, apologize to him for not respecting that he did what he could to satisfy my request."

"Afternoon. What'dya need?"

 

"Yesterday I visited a blacksmith and I don't remember where it is located. It was somewhere on the left of some shop, I believe."

 

"Bake shop, if I recall. Check around there, you're bound to find someone who isn't drunk." They shrug.
