"You're just gonna make me find her myself?"

 

Onyx doesn't reply.

 

"Why are you so scared all the time? Now I just kinda wanna hang out with you."

 

Onyx stays silent, though she nervously looks up from her hiding place.

 

"Come on."
Crystal says, beckoning her over.

 

Onyx hides again, timid.

 

“One heck of a scaredy-cat, huh?”
Crystal says, smiling.

 

Onyx seems displeased with the pun.

 

“Sorry, sorry.”
Crystal says, still smiling.

 

Onyx peeks out from hiding again, still timid.

 

“I don’t why you’re so scared. I’m not gonna kill you, and I already know that you’re a, uh... Neko, so there’s nothing to fear.”

 

"y-youre not g-going to k-kill me?" Onyx asks nervously.

 

“What, do you think everyone’s out to get you? Even if that’s the case, I’m still not.”
Crystal says, laying down.

 

"s-some people want to hunt me f-fur what i am" Onyx says timidly.

 

“Doesn’t it suck being scared of everyone, though?”

 

"i-i guess, but i dont want to be killed" Onyx says.

 

It's the innkeeper.
"Hey, we've got a bit of a problem. Security got overwhelmed and there's a big fight in the breakfast room. If the rumors that you're a werewolf are true, I really could use your help scaring the anger out of the fighters until the police show up."

"It still feels like I'm holding a friend captive."
Pause.
"...Maybe we should go talk to Emerald, see if she knows where the other half of my soul is."

 

"Got it. I'll try to hold back."
He steps out of his room and closes the door.
"To the breakfast room."

 

"Let's do that." Abigail says.

 

He takes the lead, bringing you down the hall.
"You can transform at will, no?"

Yes you can... let me at them. No killing, right?

Ruby nods, getting up.
"Can we make one more pair of gauntlets first? We are technically on work hours, after all..."
