Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"What time is it?" He thinks outloud.
He looks around for a clock of some sort.

 

Onyx remains silent, scared.

 

Ruby keeps silent.

The clock reads "5:00."

 

"Maybe just a bit more sleep. I'll try to think of something else but Sgavrinn."
He lays down in bed and falls asleep.

 

Abigail stays silent too.

 

After a while, Ruby finally lets Abigail in on a thought.
"...I'm sorry. I just... this really doesn't sit well with me."

 

“It’s better for hiding if you tuck in your tail or something.”
Crystal comments.
“Just sayin’, I can see it.”

 

You wind up waking up at eight, sound asleep.

 

"Oh. It's morning."
He gets out of bed and looks outside.

 

Overcast, but no longer raining.

There's a knock at your door.

 

"Coming!"
He walks to the door and slowly opens it.

 

"What?" Abigail asks.

Onyx hurridly hides her tail too, terrified.

 

“Why are you so scared? I already know what you are.”

 

One of the arcade cabinets shakes a bit as Onyx leaps out from behind it, running off again.

 

Crystal follows with his eyes, but doesn’t say anything or move.

 

Onyx scampers to the far end of the game room, before running back up to the top.

 

“Onyx, where do you think Shadow Stephanie is right now?”
Crystal asks, continuing to not move, but follow with his eyes.

 

Onyx doesn't respond, hiding again.

 

“I’m not gonna chase you, I just wanna know.”

 

Onyx stays silent, scared.
