Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The air guardian flies over to Ruby, hovering in front of her.

Crystal is teleported to the door outside the game room, sounds coming from within.

 

Ruby offers them the chakram.
"I made it long ago, and I want to offer the strength of my works to help protect this world."

 

"3 o' clock?"

 

The air guardian accepts it, throwing it up and down a bit to get a feel for it.

 

He nods.

If's lighter than a feather, and it feels like it has an innate affinity for electric magic.

"Forged with seventy ingots, kept in storage for hundreds of thousands of years. Now, I'm hoping to find a new owner for it before it falls into the wrong hands." Ruby says.

 

"How much for it?" The air guardian asks, tossing it back.

 

Crystal opens the door, peeking inside.

 

"I don't know the going cost. No offense, but I would like to be careful about who I sell it to. Try throwing it up and bringing down a bolt of lightning..." Ruby says, tossing it back.

 

"i think I'm gonna relax for a while. What do you think?"

 

He nods, growing a bunch of sweet smelling flowers around both of you.

 

*sniff sniff*
"They smell nice."

 

He hums, nuzzling you.

You're starting to wonder if Sgavrinn displays anything other than fear or affection.

 

Onyx seems to be playing games by herself on one of the consoles, a bowl of half-eaten fish beside her.

The air guardian throws the chakram up, before striking it with a bolt of electricity.

 

It strikes the ground and turns the bolt into a lightning strike, soon returning to the guardian's hand.
The ground is cut clean, but the chakram is still polished-looking.

 

"Maybe he does, maybe not." He thinks.
"If he does, what would they be?"

 

"Fancy." The air guardian says, tossing the chakram back.

 

You can't really think of anything except for hunger.

He seems to lead a pretty simple life.

"Thanks. Would you mind spreading the word a bit? I'm hoping to find a good owner for it... but I know my boss would want me to sell it."
Pause.
"...Do realize that it cuts through Earth guardian equipment like paper."

 

"Yeah, he doesn't really do much after all." He thinks.
"Oh well, nothing we can about it. Maybe I could ask Ragnyon someday?"

 

Probably. Why not after your wedding?

Crystal taps his foot on the floor to let her know he’s there.
